Looks incredible! The people walking in the streets adds an incredible aspect to the game. Great idea adding the men on horses to the streets!
 
I can't wait to see the walls,towers and castle scenes done! I'm definitaly going to use your work for good use on the mods I'm working on! Nice job everyone is going to know your name for now on :smile:!!
 
Yes, I'm planning to redo some scenes, but first i have to finish modelling.
And fiind easy way to make faction buildings different, because remodelling of all of them will take too long.
So i can swap textures and change roofs.
I'm thinking about using stone houses (Reyvadin or Rivacheg is mostly stone) with straw roofs for Nords. I can use buildings from town_houses_c.brf and change only textures and roofs.

Are you remodeling the Eastern style buildings as well? Khergits, Rhodoks, etc.? As always I think the whole community is very satisfied with your work! Keep it up!
 
Yeah, I knew for sure about the Khergits. To be honest I have no idea what the hell the Rhodoks are. Italian would make sense though with all of the crossbows and spears. Could have a Romanesque architecture for them... :razz:
 
it's brilliant . and could you remake the church in MB . i think it is not good enough and tower of the church is a little bit rough .
 
Khergit buildings are new ones (in think they appeared in 0.9xx) and they are ok (in comparision to medieval style ones).
Maybe I will change uvmapping to add some "ambient occlusion" and dirt, but first i need to finish other factions.
As I wrote before, I need to make buildings look different in very "cheap" way - so i will be able to finish this mod.
 
The German adventure game "Everlight" has some medieval half-timbered and stone houses.
I hope you can use them as inspiration for Swadian cities.

Okay, I'm just another person here to say: "Oh my god, this looks absolutely incredible!"
How's the poly count, though? This isn't going to bring my box to its knees is it? And are you going to do village houses also, or just towns?
 
How are the poly counts compared to the native versions? Running around town will be ok, but I'm just wondering about town battles?
 
About polycount - there will be 2-3 times more polys. As far as i know M&B engine can display a lot polys without slowing down - just look how many arrows are visible during battles.
It still will be low poly.
AI and scripts slows down things during battles.
During sieges buildings from fake_houses.brf are used so scene can have less polys.

I need to change roof texture for swadians anyway.

Quite nice indeed! Perhaps you could change the brick style and color as well, to get some more distinction. Or maybe even use wooden beams for the Vaegir walls. Just a thought. You'll get it right yourself.
 
Yeah, just a subtle hue change would be quite enough IMO. I'd give the Swadians a cooler color for the stone, kinda bluish grey, but that's just personal preference. I do agree that even more distinction would be good.
