In Progress Pointless behavior

During my assault on enemy settlements, the defending side fires at me with siege weapons, completely expending ammunition, while my army stands out of range.
This behavior neutralizes the influence of the defenders' siege weapons.
The AI should only target groups, not the player or a single soldier.
