Most of the stuff you add with those small patches has already been fixed by mods.
However, these mods often stop working properly with new patches.
But we need those mods, because they also fix other stuff.

So kindly bundle up the changes for a weekly patch instead.
Especially since you forced steam on us and patches can't be stopped there and rollbacks are troublesome.

LOL TW please don't fix your game cuz modders are doing faster. :iamamoron:

Sorry just poking fun, but I get what you mean. I honestly think after a week or 2 we'll see updates once maybe twice a week. They're just putting out fires as fast as they can right now.

Rollbacks troublesome? What??

Open Steam -> Find Game -> Right Click Game -> Click Properties -> Navigate to Betas -> Pick the version you want

Seems easy to me.

Er no. Frequent patches come with early access. I haven't started modding precisely because the game is very prone to changes right now.

Yeah modding is always done at your own risk, especially during early access. Developers should never pay any heed to mods when fixing their game imo.

Mods are great, but you KNOW this is an EA game, and mods can become obsolete every patch. Even if its a finished game mods are always used at your own risk lmfao.

No, keep the updates coming. Mods are great and all, but the goal is to make the base game as good as it can be as soon as possible. The mods can work around that.

No, these very frequent patches are welcoming. Wait for your mods until after a a month has passed at least or once the developer team start to slow down on the patches and add in new features; which take longer to implement. This is early access, do your modding at your own risk.

Also like others stated, you can rollback on the versions by going to the game properties in steam and selecting a previous one.

I was waiting for such a thread :')

Well yea, we're in early access, this **** will happen all the time.
Thats why no total conversions or stuff like that will be touched by any non-masochistic modder(team) for a prolonged time.

The small batches of patches are good though, for they can see what their changes are doing.

If you tweak 10 things you see what each does and if you **** something up you can tune it.
If you tweak 50 or 100 things and two or three of them goes south you can rework the whole cluster**** to find out what went wrong.

(That been said i am a huge fan of mods since the earliest days of M&B and Total War... Third Age, anyone? But everything has its time and the better stuff is solved now, the better the working conditions for the modders will be later.)

this is the weirdest tread i have seen on a forum in my entire life.
the mods are unreliable since not all of them are compatible (i had 2 mods, one added weapons one added companions and my game stopped working, no idea why because the files they edited where completely different, everything worked fine after i rolled everything back)

seriously keep the patches comming

Game is EA so alot of patches and changes. Taleworlds while they are not against the mods are developing their game and they will and should do it at their own pace its the job of mod developer that his mod works with the game and not Taleworlds.

Personaly i have no issues with daily patches

you know that you can just stick to a specific version right? in properties -> betas or something like that you can choose.
this is absolutely re****d.

WTF, no, please don't stop.

Let modders do what they do best - immersive mods that can create a whole new experience. Leave bbug fixing to bug fixeing devs.
