Please give me non-sexist option when defeating female commanders and then releasing them

Love the game, but such things really do disappoint me! Why do I have to say "since you are not a warrior, you are free to go" to a defeated female commander, when it is clearly not the case? I mean she literally is a warrior, who has just lost her battle. I understand that such answer may be a common thing in the Middle Ages, but Calradia is not an actual historical place. And unlike in the Medieval Europe and Near East, there are quite a lot of female warriors. Would be appreciated if I could set free a commander without sexist comments. Thank you for an amazing game, just trying to give feedback, so the expirience would be better for everyone!

someone would tell you it wouldn't be historically accurate.
However, if you offer him a mechanic like slowing down units that have shields full of javelins and enemy arrows, they tell you that it is not a good thing.
If you exhibit an economic system that takes into account the deterioration of equipment and logistics (3 systems in total, which balance and solve a lot of problems such as snowballing), they won't even read them because "they are too long" and then respond 100 times in useless threads that are neither feedback nor suggestions.

However I agree.
The type of response should depend on the type of PC you build on it.
If you build it non-sexist, then you should have the opportunity to respond non-sexist.

I think that line is a placeholder. It's probably meant for when you capture a lady who's staying in the keep after you've taken a town/castle.

I think that dialogue option was meant for actual noncombatants, but instead of checking if they were like caravan leaders or travellers, it only checks if they're female. Sort of like how you can ask a quick question, but there aren't options for it yet. I think that when the dialogue trees start to get fleshed out, that you'll only see that particular option if the hero in question is actually not a warrior.

edit: lockefeer ninja'd me, but I am typed all this, so I'mma post it.

I sort of, kind of get the historical accuracy argument, but Calradia is a fantasy world, isn't it? I mean, it doesn't have dragons and magic, but it is still not a historically accurate depiction of Middle Ages as they were in our world.

I fully agree with what you said about character type, more role-play options for dialogue would be nice.

There are many commanders in history who respected their enemies no matter their background and possibly even gender, if they were a respectable opponent. I would say that depends on personality and beliefs, and if you want to play a respectable commander you should be allowed to.

Side note: Being aware of gender differences is a sign of healthy eyes and mind, it's not neccesarily sexist.

I agree. Think that’s just a mistake. Nevertheless, thanks OP for bringing this to attention. It hasn’t to be LGBTQproof (Though I would appreciate it) but since it’s a parallel universe it shouldn’t be problem not to mirror our boring patriarchal structures.
and yes, mods can help, but that goes for either direction. So if your understanding of immersion is a misogynic place then I’m sure you can obtain that via mod either.

Delighting sidefact about female warlord

I thought it was just an option that comes up for female lords who literally aren't combatants. If that's not the case, I wouldn't mind a fix.

Wholeheartedly agree
Although: I've never seen this dialogue option. Is it because I always play a female character myself? Ladies got each other's backs?
In any case, I believe in giving players choices.

It doesn't happen with all lady commanders, just the ones without weapon skills as near as I can tell.

If you defeat mesui you won't get this option. It's not a sexist option, it's the standard option for non-combat npc.

There was actual sexism in the game but It was stripped off before the beta, however it's still in the game files and a guy on the Nexus restored It throught a mod. You can check there.

As posted above, this dialogue option is for Nobles with no combat skills and does not apply to powerful female warlords like Ira, Yana, etc..

Well, my party was attacked by a bunch of other parties, we barely won the battle and this option arose. Unfortunately I don't remember who that lady was. But regardless of her weapon skills, she was still leading a party into attack against another army. I consider that to be a warrior thing. So I don't get why I can set free male commanders by saying "You have fought valiantly, you are free to go" and when it comes to females, I can't do the same thing.
