Wooh! That's probably the most beautiful uniform in Europe 1805 o_O.

I see you updated the first post; Great!
I wished I could help to get it released sooner...
Let's see. As soon as the bèta will be released, you can help .
But before that, I have to complete the following features:
- Warfare (battlefield stuff, some special uniforms,
- Several jobs (gamekeeper, blacksmith, volunteer in army)
- Town management
- Tournaments

Do you have some suggestions for tournaments or warfare?

For working as a volunteer in an army you can use the Freelancer submod.

Why people love being in an army of someone else?  It's better to be your own boss, instead of waiting for about 100 hours before battle.

But there is always a chance to convince me .

I know it is stretching it a little, but tournies could be 'illegally' organised dueling tournaments that take place on regiment parade grounds at night or in the basements of pubs?

Yes, either that, or matches between different types of cavalry. Like, a hussar-equipped groop versus a group equipped as Uhlans.

BTW, I did read that during manoevres, sometimes real fights could devellop between units.

About warfare: Some cover during an assault on an unwalled city would be appreciated!
And maybe, when you 'train' recruits at the barracks in a city, that the garrison gets some exp (the amount of which depends on how well you did in the training fight)?

Maybe being a soldier could work a bit the same way as being a woodcutter? You volunteer as a militia at a city, you have to be at the barracks each day, you get regular trainings, and sometimes you'll get police duty (quelling a riot, shutting down an illegal business). And if you have a quarrel with the Sergeant, he strikes you with his cane!

bTW, sorry for the double-post.

Also, keep in the code that drags generals into the duels. I'd love to see Wellington who was an anti-dueling fighting in a tournie.

Serious duels were outlawed in every army. As early as the 17th century already.

Smaller Russian nobles ( aka anything up to brigadier general, incl. non-military nobles who owned big lands ) were allowed to duel, and it happened quite frequently....

There is already a feature which consist extended duelling with lords .

I read something about horse racing, which has become a professional sport during the 18th century. Illegal sports like bull and cock fighting where also popular, so was boxing without gloves.
Watching public executions were also popular, but this is already a feature ingame.

But I need something with swords, muskets, pistols and other stuff !

Military academy...Perfect thing to make..... You go trough it when you start the game or select an option not to go trough it... Of course, there can be things like shooting competitions on different distances etc...

Hmm... something like Robin Hood's archer competition with muskets... Anybody up to piercing one bullet with another one?
But seriously...ehm...shooting competition with other lords etc. could be fun, however i don't know if there was anything like this in 1805.

I don't think firearms are a good idea for tournaments at all...
Shooting competitions sound kinda... boring. And not really something of the upper class of those times. But that reminds me, maybe you can make it something like a fox hunt? The one who shoots/lances/kills the most animals wins?

BTW, what do you think of my suggestion about joining a militia? In my double-post?

Instead of 'Battlecry' and 'Warcry', I'd call it something with drums (which were in reality used to rally troops and pass on orders in battle), or something like 'Vive l'Empereur!'.

Great work!
