Omg i loved the first version, I bet this one will be way better!
Just to chip in my opinion, I think trying to get started in the first version was too difficult, depending on who you were. What i mean is that picking anything other than a rich, well connected officer was so much of a non-option.
If some kind of easier start could be given (such as starting troops or bit better equipment ( the dueling characters starting gear is terrible) then this would be great to play. But it ain't a grand problem, just my humble opinion, take it as you will

* They have party skills (tactics, trade, surgery, engineer, ...)
* Each with a special story and outfit
