I don’t think anyone has come from a “You must enjoy Bannerlord, and if you don’t GTFO” angle.

But people have attested that if you stop playing for a multitude of patches then come back in, you do see noticeable change, so the angle that they haven’t added or improved much of anything is a rather Disingenuous position.

We can look at something like “snowballing”. What snowballing was and what it is now are way different levels. What we currently have is hardly even classified as snowballing as it take years and years to really cement anything. In two years, any faction that had an early push can lose all their gains plus some of their native lands. Originally, once a faction had their huge armies crushed once, that was virtually the end of that faction.

Yet you’ll still see comments about how “snowballing is still a terrible problem plaguing the game”. Maybe. It lacks a lot of context, many playing the game fresh would find it to be an acceptable amount of momentum that can lead to the elimination of factions, and certainly doesn’t have the “once it starts, it can never be stopped” nature it once had, in particular if the player chooses to disrupt that faction personally.

could a moderator keep this on topic so we don't stray to arguments again, only looking for tale worlds to address or not and we can shut it down
It’s actually this type of entitled nonsense that is the crux of the problem in the forums

there is nothing wrong with the discussion in this thread between players and their positions on the state of the game as was introduced by the OP.

This thought that just because you post a thread means you deserve a response from a dev is a joke. If you get one, great. If not, maybe they are doing something more important, and you aren’t as special as your mommy told you you were for everyone to just focus on you.

This. If OP doesn't want other users to participate he should write them a letter. Especially if we consider that this thread started as an angry rant.

Nah man, I stopped playing in may, came back, only thing I saw different that I COULD NOTICE, was the new horses and saddles. I’ll just wait for another 6 months, game is bland and boring

Is it like Airline Tycoon?
Hard to say for me because I can´t even remember when I last played Airline Tycoon  .

Airport CEO is an airport simulation (you would never have guessed it, right?) game. You build the whole airport yourself and it tries to be as realistic as it can be. Graphics are like Prison Architect. So you have a lot of freedom how to build you own airport. You also have to track your economics, it´s challenging but not too hardcore. For me it´s a fun relaxing simulation game.

It´s also closed to being finished (less than a year I would say), all major stuff is in the game (more than 1 floor for your aiport for example) and working.

It seems to be close to SimAirport, at least those game often get compared. Airport CEO seems to be more focussed on realism and economy while SimAirport seems to be better in other aspects.

chill out my guy

Yeah I mean a full roadmap, complete transparency for what to expect for full release with in depth explanations for why we might be missing features or why we will have ones that arent being requested

They got lit up last time they mentioned why they cut a feature.

They clearly stated that they work with the community.
Have yet to see that happen.

I usually get a dev response to threads I make, even when I'm just ****posting.
?‍♂️

The problem with the forums are people like you who resort to personal insults. Despite the person not saying anything wrong.

Posting a thread then getting pissy when others comment when you feel only the devs are allowed to respond?

Sure. Yours and his logic are sound and great avenue of approach in public forum

Sorry, perhaps I didnt explain myself clearly, I was only suggesting that we should try and steer this thread into a productive avenue since we were getting off topic. I Edited my original post with a particular request because the last few pages have been the same bickering over and over again and I though that giving the devs and actual questions to answer might put that to an end. Im not really sure why you are ticked off about that but ok you be you (y)

To add onto that, I don't have any issues with other posters here, only to taleworlds and whoever official represent them because I feel like having paid 50 euros for this EA I and the rest of the community have a right to not be satisfied, and I think its unprofessional for them to ignore glaring issues. so to reiterate, I think a clear roadmap listing and explaining the features we are to expect at full release could put some of our worries to rest

Not as if OP didn't respond to replies after his original post, and perhaps in your infinite wisdom could have missed that OP was trying to end the thread by a dev reply as it has been going on for far too long.

Since you want to talk about forum experience so much, this kind of threads lead to nowhere and it was completely right for OP to just want an end response from one of the developers about a roadmap

Also, thank you for completely ignoring my valid point of you engaging in personal attacks for no apparent reason.

Fair enough. A personal answer from the devs and explanation is too high a bar of expectation. And of course folks are going to give you their take, which then can spin off into things that are.....topic adjacent is probably the best term (not directly the OP subject matter, but related to the response involved with the OP subject matter).

Would a road map been nice at the start: yeah. But they didn’t do one, and it’s only our guess as to why. Whether it’s features “on the chopping block” they didn’t want expectations for or they released right when COVID exploded and there was too much uncertainty. I doubt it’s purely “they are incompetent”.

There are other games I’ve been playing, video game and otherwise, that have had ever rolling back release dates over these last 8 months. Curbing expectations of when you’ll get something isn’t particularly a bad thing right now
