I have just downloaded this game because Home of the Underdogs said it was great. I tride to run the game and my computer restarted, so I checked the forum and cheech said it could be fixed with direct x 9c and it was. Next I started a new game as a hunter. When I tride to give my face a beard and sudenly
graphics jumbled
. It was like all the pixels stretched in different directions. I tride to play the game but the game screen looked the same, like all the pixels stretched in different directions, and no keys would respond. I ran the game again without changing the face and it ran for 30 seconds with a huge 2D black square for my hunters head. Since then I have tride every combination of pixelshaderbumpmapgraphics setting posibal in 52 attempts to run the game and always with the same result, all the pixels on the game screen stretched in different directions. The game has never crashed to the desktop.

I am using a 2002 Toshiba Satallite laptop
Mobile Intel Pentium 4
2.00GHz CPU
256MB RAM
runing XP professional
NVIDIA GeForce4 420 Go (toshiba) video card

everything stated above was done with the origonal video card driver first, then again with a new one.

I realy think this game is cool, but would like to be able to play it befor I buy it.

It never occured to you , that the answer might be turning pixel shader's off?
