Thanks cal, once I get into it, I will give the Cavendish a go. Though my out of the blue guess might be that I'd prefer something with rather strong taste. I'll keep it in mind in case I'll one day wake up as old and senile

Eh, I don't want to be inhaling your smoke - simply on the basis that it's awful tasting/smelling.

It's like people pissing/taking a crap in public, IMO.

If I'd ever smoke pipe, it would be indeed like taking a crap/urinating. Neither would I do in public. But this thread isn't named "what did you do in public last Friday".

Nah, only drunk smoking is worth doing. Too troublesome if I got addicted plus expensive. And it's hard resisting smoking when you're drunk, depends who you're drinking with, but still.

And I don't want to see ugly ****ers with whale-tail, but they're still free to do so. I don't want to listen peoples kids shriek and scream in public, but I have to.  Cigarette smoke is a minor annoyance, and if people smoke outside, I don't give a ****. I don't even smoke anymore, but the people who've nothing better to do than ***** and moan about the habbits of others still piss me off.

Is there anything else that you can put into pipes that isn't tobacco or illegal drugs?

nothing that you'd probably be interested in smoking....there's legal weed substitutes which are just scams and a waste of money, and there's legal drugs like Salvia Divinorum, but that's a pretty hardcore mind**** right there. I'm actually surprised they haven't outlawed that yet, the powers that be are usually quick to jump on something once people start having fun with it.

Thermite. Granted, you'd have to light it with magnesium, but it'd be one helluva kick.

Before it burns out the bottom of the pipe and probably takes your toes with it...

Hurray for salvia! I hear they outlawed in Australia, not sure though.

Edit: Oooohhhh, **** yeah. Seems like the resin that was clogging my pipe has dried up. This is very timely, with the loss of my bong the other day.
