I see two problems with pings in Warband:
* The first one is that in server list many servers appear to have ping more than 100, 200 or even 300 and more, but when I get on the server my ping appears to be around 50-80 which is quite good. Why is ping showing on server list different from the real one? I avoided servers with high ping but I recently realized that most of them don't have that high ping at all.
* The second problem is that sometimes pings appear to be "jumping" suddenly. It feels like my block key and weapon switching are unresponsive sometimes. Ok, I admit this can be a problem purely with my skills and perception as I am really bad at duels... or problem with my mouse or computer.

Both of these problems are pretty common at the moment and are apparently fixed next patch.

Good to read I'm not imagining things and better yet it's noticed and there is hope for fixing it.

Yea, its pretty common.
Just wait until the upcoming patch and it should increase all the ping problems.
