This handsome fella started coming around about 3 weeks ago, and has been coming about every night since. We've only seen him in person once; the rest of the time, it's been in the pictures/video from the trail cam. He seems inquisitive and hungry.
This plump kitty showed up for a couple of nights at the end of May, and then didn't come back until about 3 weeks ago, when she started coming around more regularly. Back then, we'd assumed she was pregnant, but now I'm guessing she's just plump. I'm thinking that might mean she's somebody's pet, rather than a stray.
The only issue with these two coming around is that they like to get here between sunset and midnight, which is also the time that the pretty long-haired cat likes to come around for food. We haven't seen as much of her lately, so I think she's feeling a bit pushed out. And if she waits much later than that to show up, the raccoons will most likely be there and may be cleaning out what's left of the cat food.
One half is Belgian Shepherd more likely, or Malinois, by the colour and general nature. What's the other half though...no idea.
The ear is probably due to neglect that eventually landed him in a shelter. Most likely broken or infected soon after birth, though he has no hearing trouble, especially if food is involved

And yeah, he's very friendly, especially to children and other dogs.
