Still no word just yet on which regions we will support with multiplayer servers at the start of EA. As soon as I know, I will make an announcement about it.

I don't suppose there is any news on this front?

We just sent out another batch of keys. Some have been sent to people who registered as Oceania region. Just as a heads-up, we don't currently have servers there, the nearest ones will be in East Asia.

The CN ping is between 60 - 300 depending where you live

Some Oceania/Australia based servers would be nice. Myself and others have some pretty horrible routing to Singapore so the CN servers just end up being extremely unplayable and alot worse than NA. I personally get 330 ping on CN while just over 200 on NA. There's easily more than enough players to warrant Oceania/Australia located servers - both for the beta and right on EA release. Keys were handed out today to mostly OCE players and already the CN servers have been basically maxed out - we are all very eager to start playing the game.

A more recent update or verdict on this decision would be hugely appreciated @Callum - this issue of if this region is going to receive servers or not is a make it or break it for alot of players in this region.

Even just a confirmation of servers for EA release - it's understandable if more servers aren't being prioritized for the beta due to release being so close. And if the decision is made to not host servers for this region on release then can you at least tell us and confirm that.

+1, some of us are fortunate to get 100~ ping (which even then isn't great) while others are at 250+, OCE servers will make such a difference.. Even if the game isn't really polished and perfect many of us will still play daily and try to improve, but right now we're not fighting just the enemy players but ping itself.

^ This 100% Clarification would be great. We love the game too much to be held in limbo not knowing if we'll get to play it properly or not. I'd rather get a definitive no or a yes at this point.
