Arieweths lore is setting is based during 14th century medieval Europe, during the reign of King Phillip of France and King Edward II of England. During this time however the Templar Knight Order was in the process of being ex-communicated by Pope Clement V and being under pressured by King Phillip of France. In this servers world alternative universe, this was also a time of expansion. The Templar Knight Order fled France due to King Phillip demising their Orders downfall and making many arrest and false accusations about the order which led to the orders Grand Master Jacques de Molay to be convicted and tortured as well. The Templar Order knew of a secret land past Knights have stumbled upon and named it Arieweth, the Order used this knowledge of Arieweth as a fallback for the Order. It was a hidden continent nobody knew about except for them. However when the Knight Templars disembarked on their journey to Arieweth they were followed by some of the Papal States Inquisitors given the task of collecting the remaining Templars locations by the Pope. As soon as the Inquisitors reached Arieweth they sent word back to the Pope whom then relayed the information the King Phillip of France and King Edward II of England to go to Arieweth and inhabit the continent while also putting a final end to the Templar Knights. Once arrived France and England made quick to build sturdy Strongholds onto Arieweth and populate the land. However despite their efforts the Templar Order still exists in the lands of Arieweth and are hidden among the lands. During this time tensions between France and England has increased and war may have happened already if it wasn't for the Cumans a Turkic Nordic faction invaded Arieweth and declared war on England and France, pillaging their lands and killing their vassals. Perhaps this common foe will provide peace between England and France and have it last a little longer.

Factions:
Kingdom of France

The Kingdom of France is currently ruled by King Phillip, its relations with the Kingdom of England are untrustworthy. King Phillip made it a personal goal to exterminate the Templar Order and won't rest until it has been achieved. The Kingdom of France is one of the wealthiest factions currently due to destroying the Templar Order so the personal debt of King Phillip and the Order would be vanished. Also from taking most of the Knight Templar wealth and claiming it as his own. The Kingdom of France has one of the biggest settlements currently in Arieweth and is very eager to claim all of Arieweth.

Kingdom of England

The Kingdom of England is currently ruled by King Edward II, its relations with France is horrible. England is eager for war due too past debts and events. The events between the Templars and France have intrigued the English to get involved and also claim some wealth and new land from Arieweth. The Kingdom of England have a decent stronghold in the lands of Arieweth and are one of the wealthiest factions of the world.

The Templar Order

The Knight Templars still devoted to their Christian faith were falsely accused by King Phillip and thus being excommunicated by the Pope and all of Christendom. Surviving members of the Order have fled to Arieweth to their secret Stronghold in hopes of redemption. Once the wealthiest Christian Order in the world is now feeble and decaying from the face of the Earth.

The Papal States

The Papal States are the Iron Fist of the Pope Clement V, the Popes Inquisitors establish a small stronghold in Arieweth to ensure the success of France and England on exterminating the remaining Knight Templars. The Papal Estates have the most power in the world and are very wealthy. All Kingdoms of Christendom listen to the Pope and report to him.

The Cumans

The Cumans are a Nordic Turkish faction whom came to Arieweth simply for invasion, pillaging, and conquering. They're hostile to everyone and hold a decent stronghold within Arieweth. It will take all Kingdoms to destroy these invaders.

The Teutonic Order

The Teutonic Order established a small guild house within Frances castle, they were ordered by the Pope to help spread Christendom among the natives of Arieweth.




RULES:

Arieweth is a moderate roleplay server, the rules should be easy to maintain and too follow. Below will be a list of the rules within the server.

1. Factions: Factions within the server of Arieweth are locked and are not subject to change unless through the administrative team, the factions of Arieweth will change as time progresses. Each player should seek out joining the faction they side with the most. Once apart of that faction they may appoint a lord, the lord cannot change anything about that faction. Whether that may be the name, and or banner, all factions are opened to anyone 24/7. Once you join a faction you must have a cool down period of 24 hours to change factions if you please to do so. Commoners and Outlaws are seen as Natives to the lands of Arieweth and serve no liege lord you may become a Commoner or Outlaw at anytime disregarding the cool down period. The Papal States will never be at war with France or England, unless it is done through an event. The Cuman faction is hostile with everyone and are subjected to be KOS and may KOS, watch out for those invaders! England and France may declare war on eachother anytime they see fit but when peace is declared there must be a cool down period of 1.5 hours before war can be declared again. The Templar Order are hostile with The Kingdoms of England, France, Cumans, and Papal. They are not SUBJECT to KOS, they must be roleplayed for imprisonment and repenting. If the Templar refuses then they become KOS, it is up to the Templar to choose whether to fight or surrender at anytime. The Teutonic Order is neutral with every faction besides the Cumans, and Outlaws. The Town Watch are neutral with every faction besides Outlaws and Cumans. The Town Watch run around protecting the commoners and citizens of Arieweth. They may arrest players as it seems fit and within a roleplay sense, they're there to ensure everyone is safe from bandits and the Cuman threats. During time of war the town watch may not join, they will always be neutral with the main factions (England, France, Papal, Teutonic.)

2. War: During time of war there will be absolutely no spawn killing, spawn killing is subjected to a written warning the first time and then a temp ban the second time. Castles may be captured, however they cannot and will not be capture through ninja capturing. Ninja capping is when one individual sneaks within the base and captures the castle, during war the enemy castle must be besieged with 75% of the attacking forces present. You cannot declare war on a faction that has less than 3 players. Once a castle is captured by a faction they must declare peace, the defending faction that lost their castle can try to reclaim after a cool down period of 1 hour.

3. NRR- The no revenge rule is simple, however it does not apply to factions at war. NRR is once your character dies from a certain player, the deceased player may not go back to their previous killer and seek a revenge kill. When you die you're a new person and have no idea of your previous characters events.

4. RDM- There is no tolerance for random killing! That is an immediate temp ban! All kills aside from factions at war must be roleplayed! The roleplay must be creative, and the players must be posing a direct threat to one another. A overheated argument that turned bloody would be acceptable as an example.

5. Outlaws- Outlaws may robbed people, they cannot make ridiculously absurd amounts to rob. They're subjected to rob 15% of a players gold pouch maximum at one time. Once a player is robbed they may not rob that same player again until after a 1 hour cool down period. If the player refuses to pay you must warn them one time "to pay up or to die." If they refuse again you are approved to kill them.

6. Glitching- Absolutely any type of glitching is not tolerated and can subject to a ban.

7. Racism- Absolutely no racism is tolerated and will be subject to a perma ban.

8. Meta-Gaming- IS NOT ALLOWED.

9. Global Chat- Please limit global chat to general discussions, global chat may not be used to give away players positions or form that may give other people an advantage.

10. Local Chat- This will be used for roleplaying only, you must stay in character while in local chat.

11. Characters- All characters names and appearances must be of valid roleplay, thus meaning a Medieval European name or Medieval Middle Eastern Name. No names such as "Troll, Chris, Jeff, Tuggles, Hobo." Or anything like the sorts will not be tolerated.
