Hey all, ive been designing an event i want input on.
The event would be a weekly event probaly on the weekend at the same time each week.
The setting
A region torn by war and conflict, currently in a uneasy peace with each other.
each week the factions take part in a tournament to prove there strength before going back to there normal business.
The Tournament
Each faction can enter into 3 events with there champions.
-A Archery contest where the player has to shoot several targets at range.
-A Jousting contest between the factions best horsemen
-A team fight contest, 2 faction teams fight each other with a limited budget split between all members of the faction
The faction that wins each tournament wins 50k gold per contest for the Faction roleplaying that follows.
Back to everyday life...
Factions use the money they win in the tournament to buy a castle, each has a value calculated by its size and location, the stronger the castle the more it costs, the faction leader has to decide which is more important, better starting weaponry or a stronger starting location.
the map will contain a number of captureable areas, factions who capture each location will be rewarded with more cash to fight with.
The rest of the event leaves the factions to fight and compete over the locations, do you ally a faction and share the income and take a penalty or do you take it yourself and take it all yourself!!
Factions who control the most land will get a small bonus to the next weeks event.
Neutrals
All neutrals and traders can ally who they want, factions must convince them to join their cause, there are no set jobs for traders, aslong as its a reasonable job
