Question regarding the new death feature: Enable Death says that heroes can die, but i've been knocked out by bandits on two occasions and have not died. Is the permanent death thing only if you have an heir or someone next to play as? It might sound weird but I don't want to have the chance to get knocked out over and over again with no risk of game over.

So...has anyone actually gotten game over yet?

I wonder what happens when your character is old af and has no heir. You die and it's game over?

Good question, but I suppose you'll be able to make (or there'll be generated) a distant relative to take up the mantle.

For what it's worth, I have yet to die either. It's possible permadeath hasn't been implemented yet, or it's just as possible that death in battle isn't overly common, even if you're defeated. It makes sense, honestly. The permadeath system was never meant as a hardcore mode, but rather to enrich the experience through clan play.

AFAIK it was pointed out that death only happens from execution as a captive, so you have to really REALLY **** up and have someone really hate your guts to die.

Tried losing battles on purpose to force death, still No death after 20+ losses. Just captive ??

Most of the game mechanics aren't fully fleshed yet - and they didn't even make proper documentation. We should, in the meanwhile, test it all out and document it ourselves, as always.
