In Progress Perk Upgrade Indicator Not Working in Character Window

You can see my character has a red dot by his name to indicate upgrade ready. There is a perk to be chosen in Riding, but the matching shield in the name box has a zero value; whereas, it normally shows the number of all remaining perks to be chosen.

This bug was reproducible between sessions. I will upload a save.
