Out of curiosity - do you guys play with rain and/or fog when it happens or reload the battle scene?
Reloading?  What sorcery is this?!

Nah, I just curse the air blue.  It looks to good to skip, and I just switch my tactics to something that does not involve me attracting the enemy archers' attention.  Because becoming a pincushion while you cannot see ten meters in front of your nose is not exactly fun.

Rain is ok.  The fog is just an annoying player-nerf, as the AI ignores it.  And on larger battle scenes, it can just become an exercise in frustration as you try to find where the fighting is.

Darn.
I was hoping you would all say "yeah, I hate that feature too" and I would be like "cool, I'll remove it then!".

But I guess it stays.

I hate weather.
And reload scenes every single time it's raining or snowing or fogging or whatever.

I am hoping to make this thread into a place where people can ask where or how you get certain items and yet still get a response so as to start that i do infact have a few questions.

To get the falcon fountain guard armor do we have to fight the realm or can you just buy it from the armor merchant/Mystic merchant.

Is it possible to get the dark longblade from the demon priests because i have fought many of there parties and haven't had any drop so either i am very unlucky or it do'sent drop and as  such i would like clarification.

How does the mercenary fort work because according to the wiki u cant get realm of the falcon troops at all and yet they appear there. so does that mean that any troops can appear there and if that is the case does that mean we can get the dreaded ones units and or the unholy demon generals that Ialoch uses could be obtained that way.

 Just slog it on through, curse the Gods of Perisno.

Now that I think about it, in Medieval times, armies would sometimes taunt each other for a week or more waiting for good weather. Total War series has "attack now or wait a day" for up to 3 days when the weather's crappy. So, Warband is actually quite inaccurate not giving us the option. :???:

I agree with OldGreyBeard because Total War games have option to change weather before start deployment. Warband is too frustrating and innacurate

Fighting with horrible fog, ugh.

Regarding the Mercenary Guild, I know you can't hire all the troops you see, only the ones in certain areas.  Not sure about RotF troops but I am pretty sure that rare troop types can be hired, as I encountered some Persino Runed Knights in there recently.  Unfortunately I did not have enough cash to hire them

The only ones you can hire is the ones in the first floor room and then the second floor room what i was wondering is if any troops in the game can spawn, becuse as of yesterday i found both queen ageas materiarch guards and queen elwins eltorian guardians.

Well then i never bothered to talk to them all because the ones outside(at least the ones i talked to could not join me).

You can get them from merchants.  They are my uniform for my character and my companions, and I make it a point to check the armor merchant in the faction's only city for it.

You can get 99% of the items that are not quest specific by doing this.

1. Get hired mercenaries to top tier (sharpshooter, foot knight, knight)
2. Take a quest from one of the Faction Mercenary employers (Located in Lille, Amarna, Grund, Friesing, etc.) to deal with local nobles occupying a town.
3. Change the equipment of your hired mercenaries, and the last category you look at will be available as loot from the quest.
3A. If you want more than just an armor type you can add something into your troops inventory then discard it into the last category you look at (dropping swords into the heavy armor area will make the heavy armor and the sword lootable).

I considers as Perisno is a very good mod but sincerely not fit with me and my tastes(I hate fantasy) also suffers from flaws because Warband not was a good game at release, I thinks as this not is for strategy gamers - roleplaying is subpar compared to that of Crusader Kings 2. Empire management in WB is a disaster because stupid simplicity(Total War games and EU4 make better things) Battles are arcade--y and too easy, dumb AI and lacking of commands and tactics. Perisno as all Warband mods with exception of Hispania 1200, Brytenwalda/Viking Conquest and Renaissance failling to impress me, strategy gamer and history nerd

Understand my opinion

I have played both EU IV and CK 2 ( indeed I have played Victoria II and Stellaris too ) yet nowadays I just play Perisno and AWOIAF. At the beginning Paradox games are frustrating and addictive, though middle game and late game always consist of me conquering everything: boring. In Perisno you can fight on the battlefield with your soldier and every battle is either funny or a  challenge. Nevertheless Paradox games and Perisno have a common trait: every single gameplay is unique, but I think that now playing Perisno is the best way to have fun. Yet I am probably going to restart playing CK 2 soon and I will probably do a mega campaign ( I miss Vicky 2 a bit too, I am waiting for Victoria 3 ). All in all Paradox games and Total war games share the same aspect that I have highlighted before ( I have played Rome I, Rome II, Attila and Warhammer II Total War ). Moreover Paradox games are not so accurate ( obviously more than Warband ) historically talking: China always colonises California with Mandate of Heaven and I should not talk about the Aztec invasion in CK 2 :iamamoron: . I love fantasy. I love strategy games (  Red Alert fan since 2005 [ I was six in 2005 ] ), yet now I prefer playing Perisno. I have unterstood your opinion ( I guess ) please understand mine.

P.S. I want to thank the development team of Perisno for this incredible mod, I am looking forward to play Perisno 0.9.
