Yeah. Minor are landless, like ankar, gazir, wolf/eagle knights. So far, the only recruitings I'm aware of are: pre-Zann, freelancer, Illicans, pre-Venetor, and through religion/priest recruiting.

Illicans can be recruited after you complete the 5 quest/task they give (npc in Voldeberg tavern).
I see. The last Illican tasks are very hard. Looks like I`m stuck with rescuing Illicans. And what does the pre- prefix mean?

Zann and Venetorian are technically major faction, as they eventually own lands. Pre prefix is just my way of saying you can get them early before they show up.

Pre-Zann and such does sound confusing, doesn't it

Relations.

IIRC when PC has positive relations with a minor faction they will not attack his farmers/caravans/recruiters. In 2 cases at least they do:

- Mosoru. I`m a vassal of Hakkons if that matters as they are hostile to them.

- Illicans while I`m a vassal of Sut.

Even when I`m unaligned they try to attack caravans I escort.

Why? I do not like this...

Hired troops gear.

Started recruiting Ingvars special boys and have prolly made a mistake :

- I moved the starting tabard to my inventory when assigning gear. Now they have both tabard and assigned armour in their inventory. Sometimes they show up with one, sometimes with the other. Now my question is what will they use in battle?

I don't think the units you listed are considered Player Faction which is why those factions are still hostile.

The rightside inventory is considered the units inventory when changing their equipment and anything in it can appear in battle.

Weapon preferences.

Hi all,

my Hired Warrior INF have spear/pike, 1H mace, shield and jarids. They seem to not use their polearms at all. Why? As their polearms can be used with a shield. Any way to make them prioritize polearms? I have other INF in my condotta too if that matters.

Probably has to do with the AI scripting. They do use their polearm against cavalry, but will prioritize to 1h against foot opponents.

If the AI coding set the polearm usage similar to throwing AI, that would probably fit the ideal usage, and probably what you have in mind. Been testing how to do it as well, but alas, I don't give my pike users any other melee because of how it just runs.

Hi kgwovan,

I did not see them use their polearm at all. They might ofc use it when I`m not looking being fighting for my life. I will remove 1H from their inventory and see what happens. Actually I really do miss pre-battle orders with possibility to order bracing shields and/or polearms. Player can brace his pavise, NPC:s should be able to do it too.

Zann queries.

1. How many troops in total does Zann have when their invasion starts? In a dialogue there is a mention of 4000 but there seems to be much more of them.

2. Zann vanguards, do they respawn? Or are they one-shot like People of Valahir?

1. The hordes are around 2,800, the lords and their vanguards 2,000, and all of the spearheads/scouts/reinforcements 2,000. I would guess 5,800 in total, before lords start defecting to them and patrols are sent out of towns and castles.

2. Vanguards do respawn I think.

Что это за квест с реликвией Золоны и как ее получить?
What is the quest with Zolona's relic and how to get it?

Re 2.: I think you`re wrong. Zann are tottering on the brink of extinction, only Zann Fort left now and there have not been any new Vanguards in addition to the starting ones.

Well,

it looks like there is a relation threshold at work. With +25 relation I get the recruiting dialogue when talking to Illican parties.

When I fought Zeladeck I didn't get his unique sword- is that bc I have high relation with the Falki? (around 45 due to doing some of Nodah's quests and helping them in battle)

I know its a spoiler, but what happens if you don't deliver the wolf to Kaiser Otto? I would really like to use it in my Household Guards, my character is married to Gereon in my current playthrough, would I be better off just stealing his wolf?
