+14% DMG for bow PD requirement+4 (so if you have 10 PD and 6th and 10th bow you'l have +140% DMG)
also 5th bow have beter spec

Most unique weapons have their traits built into the stats I've noticed, such as Flamebringer doing piercing swing damage, or the Strange Rapier being very fast with high piercing damage.

But I'm also wondering about the Nisanyan blade, sometimes I think it might only increase damage for each kill made in a combat round. Aurora as well seems like it would do extra damage, only against Grazir/Dreaded units I assume, but I haven't been able to tell beyond such units seemingly dying faster when using the blade.

bow with req.of 3 give them 2x14% more dmg (eg. bow with 30dmg be like 44), bow with 5 req give them nothing

More powerful bows have a minimum Power Draw requirement to use. Power Draw also adds 14% to each hit with the bow, until four levels beyond the bow’s minimum Power Draw requirement; for example, if the bow’s Power Draw requirement is 2, then a skill level of 2 will add 28%, while a skill level of 6 will add 84%, while any level beyond 6 will still add 84%. Finally, higher Power Draw makes powerful bows easier to use by improving your accuracy and the time you can keep your aim steady while the bow is drawn, though this cannot overcome having a low proficiency with bows

CONFUSION
my bad, never be good in math
should be around 40dmg for bow...
it is easy - if you have for eg. 10 in power draw, then usisng bow with req. of 6pd give you max bonus (req for bow 6 plus 4x14%), if you use bow with 8pd you get only 2x14%

no
if you have 10 PD and use bow with 6-10req PD you will have +140% DMG
if you have 15 PD and use bow with 6-10req PD you will have +140% - +196% DMG
if you have enough PD you receive +14% DMG for EVERY bow PD req + 4

clock4orange, what you make the mistake is that you think you have to substract the power draw requirement from your power draw to get the power draw bonus. That is not correct. Every power draw level contributes to your damage except those above power draw requirement + 4. The power draw requirement poses a cap on the power draw bonus: the higher the requirement, the higher the cap can be.

Now I'm interested, does the same math apply to throwing weapons (leaf bombs and such)?

maybe I'm not good enouth to do the math, but...
I'm using sunrise bow with 40dmg (along falconian arrows with 4dmg and 350+ prof) and have 12pd, ussualy get around 65-70dmg, so how is that?
don't get me wrong, but 3 times more dmg is too much, I think so...

Pity. I kinda assumed same thing as clock4orange and hoped to kill two wyverns with one hired sharpshooter. With 5pd bow being as painful as 9pd due to bonus and have armor fatter but still themed dwarfs))

I have a question about "join my cause" dialogue option since this is perisno-only thing. How exactly the chance for success is calculated? I neglected persuasion in my current playthrough and I'm not sure if its worth to put some points into it just to get some lords (don't konw how much impact it has).

i use export/inport to test
15PD, master Perisno foot bow (13pd, 45DMG), sharp falconian arrows (+7DMG), ~600prof
Divine Aethling get 100+ DMG in chest

I've got a 7 or 8 persuasion on my current run and it hasn't given me squat. Good nature and Upstanding lord types are likely out right immunue as well. Persuasion is super important, as far as I can tell for a companion or two for diplomatic envoys, not sure it was useful for MC.

I've used "join my cause" to persuade almost every remaining lord, but there was many possible factors. First, my honor was between 250-300, causing every good lord to like me. Second, they only had 3-4 fiefs left, with very few victories. Third, I have around 5 persuasion.

Around 50 relations, their dialogue would play out as follows (not entirely accurate): "To be honest {playername}, I've been hoping you would ask. You're known as an honorable man, and I've admired your bravery for a long time. I would be happy to join you cause."

It seems like persuasion is really important here. My honor is around 450 and good-natured lords still don't want to join me, even if some of them have 0 fiefs and negative relations with their king.

I have similiar stats to Dantelh, except for 7 persuasion. So just now I went to Maccan which is down to one city and has about 10 lords. I was able to turn 3 guys who were upstanding (2) and good natured but with lower reknown 650-750 range, I was not able to turn the GN/Up guys with 900-1500 reknown. All of them obviously had no keeps. Note though, although I have 250 honor, I only had about 20 reputation with all of them.

How dare you call noble nords thieves!
Troops don't usually come with training, engineering or medical skills either (etc). TBH I don't even know if all those skills work right, or if having 1 troop with 5 trainer or 10 with 5 trainer makes any difference. I kinda doubt it, perhaps it works as the (10+2) part though, again, IDK.

hi guys, i have a question about birgit that i can't seem to find an answer to either in changelogs or searching this forum.
posts on here and reddit from (0.8? 0.9? not sure) mention birgit as having a red dragon that you can take from her upon marriage, but having done so in a 1.0 game, it seems her inventory only contains a standard wyvern. was this a deliberate change as part of the removal of dragons, or am i missing something here?
