Perisno 0.9 - The Main Thread (HF6 - February 04, 2019, 08:10:15 PM)

Here are my impressions so far:

What I love:
-mod runs smoother now, both on the map and in battle, no CTDs
- new trade screen, it is easy to buy and sell and you can change shops with one click, I wish we could apply the same menu to the loot
- new items are shiny
- troops voice acting

What needs attention:
- when buying from the shop you cannot see item's attribute requirements
- you cannot try the armors and weapons on your character without buying it first
- deserters should have their own voice acting, because Tolranian deserters were shouting "for the crown"...
- new companions' dialogues need revision (the giant Thrak says "whose" instead of "who's")

I am using the old market interface. I think there was no need to change it, still I can not find the formations options. Arduus I am glad to hear that you have been able to play Perisno 0.9 in the end.

Of course I have, that's why I said I wouldn't be able to come back once the mod was downloaded, I was busy playing it  I am glad you enjoy it too.

It is the first time in a while that I am glad to have misunderstood someone. May the musicians of all Perisno sing our heroic deeds from Vellinaz to Fountain Hall. Prosit my fellow.

Is there a way to change to the old market UI without having to start a new game? The problem is that in the new one the requirements (strength, power draw) for using an item are not shown, or am I missing something?

ANYONE WHO'S HAVING CTDS, MAKE SURE TO CHECK "LOAD TEXTURES ON DEMAND" IN GAME LAUNCHER.

Regardless of how good your PC is, it's mandatory.

Yes.
My bad, I overlooked 1 tiny part when I was merging PNB and 0.9.
Will be fixed.

arduus 说:

....won't be fixed.
That's one disadvantage of the new screen.
You have to decide what you find more important - this or automatic selling of items.

Thanks.
Will be fixed.

Just disable it in mod options (camp => game setting => enable old trading menus or something like this).
You can switch it on and off at any time depending on your needs.
Requirements will be fixed soon with a hotfix though.

Camp, change game options, there is a option that let you use the old market interface. Has anyone already seen the Strange Hakkon Sword? Well someone here is going to smash some Persian Invaders ( Drahara or Sand Stalkers ) with 300 spartans in Perisno while listening Sparta by Sabaton tomorrow.

I've noticed new game mechanic, those "made by race for the race only" items.
There is also a new troop tree - some Venetorians and also there is a Venetor town somewhere, but hidden, may be it is a part of the new Third Legion quest.

I remember the old quest where one had to equip set of legion armor to get into the fort. Will it be a part of the new quest?
Kind of worried because I started my new game as an elf, seen some venetorian armor at mystic merchant and it is made "only for humans".

Will non-human races be able to complete new Third Legion quest?

P.S. New dwarves and dwarf armors are awesome, definitely going to play as a dwarf next time

Yes, you must be human for the Venetor quest.

Just curious - is it possible for us to tweak this requirement for personal use? Would, for example, removing the "Human only" tag from the armor allow us to do the quest as, say, an elf?

wow thanks
It is time to mess with exported character's file I guess
have not played as a human in Perisno for far too long

i don't see this option anywhere in the mod options menu in 0.9, im assuming it was removed and now the ****tiest crossbows keep doing 60+ body shot damage to everything and the troops armed with them become incredible OP, (freaking demon pilgrims for god sake), is the option hidden or what? am i gonna be force to use morghs WFAS editor to nerf them to the ground just to be able to play against those units without getting **** on?

Guessing that it's not getting updated on Steam today

You can just download it from moddb and place the mode folder inside the Modules folder. The launcher will automatically detect the mod and you can play it like normal.

Hell yeah more racism! A beautiful solution to armor meshes messing up when those puny elves have the guts to don armors made by the superior Giant race. Thank God someone posted a solution to fix the Linux problem on time.

I fear you will have to use Morgh, even formations and enemy improved behaviour in battle has been removed or at least I have not found them anywhere.

For those waiting for update on steam, here's the answer from one of the guys listed as creators:

As soon as possible! Due to the way Steam handles their Workshop, we can only have one person running the Workshop and updating the mod there. Due to this restriction, we have to wait for him to have free time to get it all sorted out. I can't say exactly when it'll happen, but hopefully it should be very soon!

Hope I helped

is the option hidden or what?
It was removed.
It was tested, balanced and therefore is no longer optional.

Smilein 说:
Does the +Ironflesh or +Athletics from equipment work on PMC?
Afair, no, it only works on heroes for performance reasons.

Hmm.
Interesting observation, I never thought about it.

Technically speaking, only male giants and male dwarves have different bodies and therefore are incompatible with human equipment and can't wear it to sneak into the fort.

But it seems like male elves and females of non-human races were restricted from it too (I guess for lore reasons, since a giant woman pretending to be a legionnaire doesn't make much sense).
But it seems... kinda harsh.

There is an option in cheat menu to change your race. You can do it for the time of the quest and then change back.
