People moving too slowly?

I just installed M&B on my new computer and I noticed that my character is moving too slowly. The game itself is not slow, I'm running on 150fps...
I know I don't have Athletics, but I'm sure that even without it I shouldn't be moving so slowly.. it isn't just me, the enemies are walking slowly as well.
Anyone else noticed this? Or is it a problem with my computer? So far I played much heavier games on it and had no problems..

Nothing wrong... the game is like that. Its a little less fast-paced than the usual TPS/FPS games but it suits the pace.

Note however that encumbrance affects your movespeed as well as does athletics, so if you're wearing alot of heavy armor you're bound to move much slower than if you were.... naked.

unofficial editor can change the walking and horse speed i think

Yup, I changed everybody's athletics to 7. Looks way better. DOn't even know why the troops have such dump low speeds

Are you saying you tried the game on your old system and it seems like its running slower on your new one? That was my understanding of the OP...oh well. If thats the case, then i haven't a clue. But characters do move very slow with low are no athletics. Even if you encumbrance is kept low.

That was my impression too; i can't see the OP having 80 posts and only just installing it.....

No idea what the problem is....
