In Progress Pendraic Castle fps extremely low on good pc

Ryzen 9 3900X, rtx 2080, 16gb ram, all ssd.

Stays at 10-20 fps on mostly maxed out graphics at 1440p with constant hitching. Not even worth playing the actual siege since it moves in slow motion. Only had a battering ram and 1 siege tower. 640~ Vlandians vs 340~ Battanians

Try waging war with the Battanians then and defending your castle. It will be playable.... if you have GTX 3090 and I9 maybe. Or maybe you'll tell me not to wage wars with them? How can I pass your words to the AI?

there are many games in early access that are going on 2 years. Below Zero is one of them.

And also there are many trash games which were released and forgotten, but that does not serve as an excuse for anything.
