Peculiar things you do

I also keep niine slots of food, but at the bottom. 3 bread, 1 each of the 3 meats, 1 fruit, 1 cabbage, 1 grain. Sometimes I'll throw a hunk of cheese or one of the smaller food items in the inventory above as a treat. (I once read that food items closer to the top get consumed faster.) I haven't tried organizing them by meals, that's a neat idea.

I keep a row of every non-degradable food type in my inventory (honey, butter, dried meat, bread, cheese, etc) and each time I loot a fief, I replace any food that is partially eaten with fresh food... the peculiar thing, however, is that I keep my foods organized by type. :???: Honey and butter are at the top (sweets), then comes bread and cheese (sandwich food!), then comes fruit and cabbages (veggies/fruits... duh), then comes the meats (fish, dried meat, sausage), and lastly the grain... cause, well... its grain.

I occasionally will pick up the degradable foods (pork, chicken, grapes, beef) as kind of a "Well done men!" treat, but I rarely pick up olives cause I feel the +1 to morale isn't worth my inventory space, lol.

Also, I don't know if foods get eaten depending on the order in your inventory, it doesn't seem to hold true considering sometimes my men eat a buttload of honey, bread, and sausage but not a whole lot of butter, dried meat, or cheese.

On the other hand, how much would I get shouted at if I suggested implementing lesbian marriages?

I'm working on how to do it once the mod system comes out. But not as marriages. Instead, a couple of NPCs would randomly get a 'Gay' flag added to them at the beggining of each new game. If you happened to have very high relationship with that NPC and met them at a feast you'd get a 'get really drunk' option, and then they'd try to kiss you.

From there, you could expose them, which would probably get them exiled to another kingdom, or out of Calradia, and cause your relations with their family to drop a great deal and the families relations with everyone else to drop.

Or you could have a secret relationship, and they'd do things like sending you troops, keeping you up to date on information, and asking for help with things.

and if you kept their secret there would be a chance each month of you being exposed, which would result in you being exiled and losing all of your lands.

I figure it would be a bit more exciting and realistic than just having the same options, but with a girl. There were definitely gay people in history, and they definitely had relationships, and it was definitely really, really dangerous for them if they were exposed, or even suspected.

I unconsciously talk to the NPCs out loud sometimes... phrases like "***** please..." or "Outnumbered but not outclassed *****" or "Oh, running like a ***** now that your buddies are gone, huh?" come to mind. In retrospect, I call a lot of people "*****" in the game, lol.

I want to do this now, except in period speech.

"Ha-ha! Taste my blade, you wicked cur!"

"Face my wroth, you devilish wench!"

I do this in Warband all the time. I think my brothers, with whom I share a Tinychat room for voice, are going to kill me the next time I see them.

Artimenner -?

Deshavi - Not sure, but since Sarranids might good?

Jeremus - Not sure, he travel world, but he might link to Rhodoks, but again, he might from other place.

Marnid - Not sure, but I don't think He from Nord, no, that's can't be right, I think he is from other place, or it's could be Rhodoks,Swadian
Artimenner and Marnid are both from a different land than Calradia altogether. It's somewhere "over the mountains," named Geroia.
Deshavi grew up "in a hovel... not far from Kulum," the farthest east Nord village. However, she doesn't seem like a Nord racially, but I don't remember her saying anything else about it. The first time you get near Kulum with her in the party, she should tell her story about it.
Jeremus is from "over the seas." Doesn't sound like the same land as Artimenner or Marnid.

some of my habits include...

Always keep my food at the very top of inventory and if 1 runs out and an item takes it's place i will arrange it accordingly. just easier to keep track of your food levels that way.

Also when i own my own castle or city and i've captured and recruited a lot of bandits and the like, i always put them at the very top of the garrison and arrange them into their own group and as soon as the battle start, if battle has a ladder or ramp i will immediately send them all down ramp as fodder to keep the enemy occupied and delayed down below while my archers have more time to pick them off from up top.

whenever i win a duel or tournament, if i'm equipped with a sword i will always start the thrust animation and stand over fallen opp. aiming point of sword at opponents head.  Basically as a warning, saying if you move one more inch....YOU DIE!

and lastly i only use about 7-8 campanions, all with their own specialty and the support people(tracker, healer, engineer, always stay in main group but people that are pure fighters, i will give them a role to specialize in and i will create custom groups and make each campanion a captain of said custom group.
so one will lead his own group of cavalry, archers, infantry and whatnot.

When joining a siege that is initiated by my faction that have incredible odds with them (eg:600vs100) I strip my character naked and charge in head first with a 2Hander and try to jump over the enemy blocking the siegetower bridge and hide somewhere safe with 2 hp and try to last until the battle is over .

When seeing a drunk guy who wants to fight me in the Tavern, I set the option 'Damage to character' to 'normal/full' and try to knock out the drunk guy with fists and kicks. usually I fail unless if I spam kick and get them stuck somewhere.

In a battle, while waiting for the enemy to get into shooting range, I try to pass the time by shattering my paranoid soldiers' shields with my 2H. FIGHT like REAL men

I try to make my companions into super elite troop instead of just party-skill members right in the beginning. Unfortunately this cost a lot of money and time (Lvling Ymira)... plus I miss out on bonuses in the beginning.

check out this mod for M&B1: Sword of Damocles, it tells more about the other lands in the world of Calradia http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,117.0.html

Inspired by others who talked about doing similar, I've started trying to play with an army of only mercenary troops in the beginning. Mercenary cavalry, hired blade, and so on. When I capture my first fief, then I recruit new troops from the villages I gain. Before, I had never bothered to recruit a single merc. It's been a fun dynamic.

Hmmm after I started the latest campaign I have no started a new "tradition" all my chars will be Bathrobe Crusaders.

Count Kraven the Bathrobe Crusader.

xD-1.jpg

I always try and maintain 2 of each food.

I always use only faction troops, except for rescued troops and mercs, mercs and rescued troops of other factions work like "second rank soldiers" I use as cannon fodder.

I always use 2 hander, warbow, khergit arrows x2 no matter what char I play.

I gotta personally kill 10% or more of all enemies whether there are 10 enemies or 2000, else I feel meh.

I always try and single out the lords and take them down myself.

and so many more.

I love the bathrobe. Great weight:protection ratio.

And absorbs any split white russian that your beard misses.

I have a dress, so I can look pretty at feasts. And my character has a girl-crush on Matheld. And I spend a lot of time wondering who I'm going to marry. All of which I expected from barbie horse adventures, not a game where my character has personally slain... three hundred and eight people. No TKs though!
I find that just a wee bit disturbing.
On the other hand, how much would I get shouted at if I suggested implementing lesbian marriages?
*Lesbian Marriage*
*Your character gains 500 controversy*
*and 1000 renown*
YEEEAAAH
Get your dear matheld as your vassal then you can if you so desire have a lesbian marriage...  At least, you were able to in 1.105. Not tried the latest patch.

- I dress my character and all my companions in the same clothing, with the exact same weapons, if at all possible.
--- And until the companions get the uniforms they go about NEKKID.
- I start blinking really really fast if something isn't loading quickly (which happens alot... Yay for being weird :???:)
- If I'm a female character, I have all female companions.
- If I'm a male character, I have either all female or all male, depending on if the character is a pimp or not.

What armor is that?

Alayen - Vaegirs
Correct. He's a vaegir Noble.
Wanderer1981 说:
Artimenner -?
Not in Calradia, however when he goes to gather news on factions he goes to Narra, so Khergit.
Wanderer1981 说:
Baheshtur - Khergits
Correct.
Wanderer1981 说:
Borcha - mosty Khergit and maybe little south of Swadians in old Mount and Blade, but Warband may changed that.
Pure Khergit. He gets sent to one of the Khergit towns when you ask him to gather faction intelligence.
Wanderer1981 说:
Bunduk  - Rhodoks
Correct
Wanderer1981 说:
Deshavi - Not sure, but since Sarranids might good?

He goes to Nord when he's gathering intelligence. Not sure where his home is.
Wanderer1981 说:
Matheld - Nord? Might other place.
Nord but not a Nord from Calradia, iirc.
Wanderer1981 说:
Nizar - Might Khergit, but no way, can't be, it's might link to Sarranids or other place.
He goes to Swadia when gathering intelligence. But he gets Sarranid troops, iirc someone said. He should be sarranid imo, but eh. Dunno.
Wanderer1981 说:

House of Rolf in a distant land. Can't remember where he goes to gather intelligence.
