Is there anyway to get Peasent Women in your party , except for recruiting from prissoners and saving from khergit rapists ?

Then it makes me wonder :
Why there are peasent women at all.... Hope later versions will let you recruit them + peasant men , because mercs are cheaper to train yourself than to recruit in the tavern.

Nah, I actually think it's rather good to have them in the game.

What with the added variation and all.

lol atm I'm building up an army of sword sisters. I just go around beating up all my enemies farmers with blunt weapons to take them prisoner and there's nearly always a peasant woman or more in the group. Then later I set up camp and ask them to join me. If they accept I garrison them for a while and then train them up later when morale is high

To OP.

It do make sense that peasant women is only possible to get from prisoners or knocking them out and recruiting them from your prisoner list.
Why? In the medieval times women were rarely soldiers, those few who were often people of plundered villages that lost their husband and kids, who then sticked around the army/warband/whatever that saved them, possibly picking up some training, etc.
(not directly historic knowledge, but a theory based on the attitude towards women in the middle ages)

The Wandering Knight 说:
"Camp follower" is more likely to be a servant or prostitute than a fighter, honestly.

True, but hey they had to start somewhere right and they had to make a living until they had reached a certain skill when it came to weapons and warfare?
Why put themself through it? Obvious since we can only get them when they are prisoners now, the theory behind their willingness to join a lords warband could be revenge?

Makes sense.

Well prostitutes weren't exactly "helpless" in any case back in the middle ages...A fact that still holds true today.

But caladria isn't a real world really .... Ah never mind. too bad I have only a few bithces in my party... You know .. Spices the troop morale a bit .

I recently saw a lord's party with one sword sister in it.

Lord's troops upgrade ranks.

They use coursers. They are a faster horse troop, and have a variety of weapons and armor that reflect this.

But have zeroes in their strike , draw , throw skills (i think). But it's true , they have a high riding skill...

Sword sisters are a mixed bag; light cavalry and heavy infantry bunched into one. If and when I do use them, its mostly because I need heavy infantry that can travel across the map quickly; not to mention their relatively low upkeep.
