Peasant Weapons

Some good things got rolled out in this patch, but we gotta put the Peasant weapons back.

I realize we put Awlpikes on the peasants because we stripped them off of Voulgiers and Vlandia would have no pikes.

This was a mistake and the Peasants shouldn't have to pay for it.



When you take the FARMER perk, it gives you an Awlpike. Not a pitchfork.

You know, like farmers have.

On their farms.

For farming.



Also plz put Scythe back on Rabble. It was very fun to murder cav with in a crush since it has great overhand reach.

If only we had more options, then we could have space for both the humble pitchfork and the pike

Yeah, not a fan of the swap myself, though I feel like that this decision is purely a balance-related one. Back in earlier builds of the game, a peasant with a pitchfork often became a powerful force to be reckoned with if he's ever allowed to steal horses.

I think the design intention behind the pitchfork's removal is to reduce the Peasant Levy's killing power on horseback, while also giving him a much longer polearm to compensate for the lack of horse stealing.
