This isn't about the "worth", that's completely subjective as how that's measured. Exact same way some people are 100% satisfied with what TW put out 2 years ago, and some aren't.If you don't think an early access game is worth the money in it's current state, you shouldn't buy it. Steam explicitly tells you to wait unless you're excited about playing the game right now.
If you don't like Bannerlord but bought it because you imagined it would become a different game, then I hope you will take this a as a learning experience.
EA is a demo fundraiser/kickstarter of a proposed game; some fail to meet expectations, change, fall apart, etc...and some don't. It's a risk investing into an incomplete product, I accept that; I'm not asking for a refund. Nor did I buy it in hopes it'll be CK3 or TotalWar or of that sorts, I bought it based on the expectation that whatever content I did get access to at the time would be improved upon based on feedback. And, based on my experience through that (and many others), they failed on that end.
Did TW "succeed" in releasing something official, sure, they met the bare minimum follow-through of the end result of a EA; an "official" release.
The only learning experience from this is that I'm not buying another TW game. I'm not even sure I'll even try one last hurray after this "whatever big" patch is still pending. Just here with my popcorn.
