Oh my god.. Why are you still hoping?!

First of all, TaleWorlds is state funded (Surprise!).

Yep-Yep, TW is part of the governmental game development program, and therefore is state funded. They don't need to support their game to make an income, and it shows.

Secondly, taleworlds is a very lazy company because of the above. From past interns and reviews left and people I've talked to, it seems like most of the studio does almost nothing all day. They say they've even seen people just play or watch youtube while during work hours, and honestly I don't blame them. Every single past intern said that it's a management problem, they want to sit cozily in the state funding, and whenever they do decide to do something, they always butt heads with the lead dev.

Thirdly, even though taleworlds from what I hear is a very cozy place to work at, with free food and drinks and pizza weekends, they do nothing to actually keep their developers interested in working for them, which is why many of them don't take this seriously. They are so focused on showing the government that they're active and working that anyone who uses the government given privilege of working from home gets their end of year bonus (which everyone has) cut out of their salary.

All in all, this studio basically degraded into a government leech that people basically use for internship as a springboard into the industry, which in turn keeps the government money flowing and the management lazy.

So I don't understand why you believe in local nonsense and keep hoping and waiting for something. Stop playing and buying - this is the maximum you can do. No one is interested in your tears here. And if my comment is deleted, it's even more obvious. It's sad, but finally accept it.

Really? Please share in detail about that funding with the rest of us will you? Got any link to that governmental program? You could try use google, you would be quite surprised over the results you find about that funding and level of. Then come back and share what you found with the rest of us, how it actually works? You can do that right?

To all of the above, I will add that at the end of 2022,

when TaleWorlds invested in the mobile game developer UDO, almost no one here on the forum stirred a single gyrus.

Correlating with what I wrote above makes it even more fun and more sad.

Deleted this crap, I will come back in a year maybe something will change to play impossible and boring . No diplomacy, no economy, no intrigue! There is nothing but go kill bandits, become a mercenary kill, become a vassal kill and capture, become a king kill, capture and think where to find gold for the maintenance of the army ... The game goes in the trash ...

People are still playing it's crap single player?

Well, compared to multiplayer you guys get a lot of love. Multiplayer is cesspool of ranged and cavalry with bugged maps and gamemode where people are spawning in random places with no real objective.

So what if foundations (foot combat) is good, when the overall product sucks?

Honestly, after almost 800 hours of gameplay I have found that the game pushes you into cav every time I've tried numerous times to play on foot and not fight on a horse and yet I always end up doing some form of horse combat... Also, despite the nerf from the last major actual update the cav and archer units are still very OP especially on auto roll

Class limits don't fix anything, it just makes the game frustrating for the people who get stuck playing inferior classes.
And the lack thereof makes the game frustrating to people who come into this game with the expectation that melee is viable.

Honestly, this game's a mess of intentionally bad balancing where in the best case scenario, you'll die to an overpowered unit or because your unit is underpowered. Meanwhile, the worst case scenario is "Mount&Blade PVP is just a bad shooter". I think the first priority should be to address the perception of "M&B is a shooter" since that's the easiest issue to fix, with unit balancing being something that can be done at a close second.

All classes die to good cavalry, except camping ranged, who kill others, but slower. Cav earn points too fast in TDM to even care about camping ranged, on Harbor map it's not even close. As infantry i go about 50 kills, good cavalry do 100 ez. Ranged get less kills and less deaths, unless it's very good. The problem is, it's frustrating to play against them.

Is melee viable?

Alright, sounds interesting and might explain TW behavior.

But now I'm afraid you're gonna have to share your sources (links, documents, whatever) so we can actually verify if this is true.

No sources = another internet gossip

If you want an actual insight into incentives in Turkey when come to the gaming/app/mobile industry in Turkey. I don't really see that cover the monthly running cost of a company the size of TaleWorlds. Like he indicate they can just hang around do nothing and get paid...

Everyone can find this stuff by just google it.
