Patch Notes v1.2.10-1.2.11

I purchased the game from epic games yesterday to play Bannerlord Online Mod for brother. He wanted to enter the game and Error. I found that this patch was the whole problem. I think the story will end before it begins.

It could be mod incompatibility with the new patch. They may need some time to adapt their code.

Excited for 1.2.11! Can't wait to try out all those fixes it'll implement!
I mean, the game is already finished and cooked, diplomacy works as intended, policies too, AI is super smart. All we need is some improvements in banana textures and then we're good to go.

Steam and BO Mod are 1.2.10. Epic games players not be able to play until Taleworlds releases the update. Nothing the BO devs can do about it.

"The patch has been released to Steam and will follow to other platforms once the remaining obstacles have been resolved."

@Piconi Good day, I'm playing the game on Epic Games ("The patch has been released to Steam and will follow to other platforms once the remaining obstacles have been resolved.") You wrote it like this. So, can you give an estimate of when the update will come to Epic Games? Will it take 1-2 weeks or do we have to wait 1-2 months?

Hello,
I'm using Beta 1.2.9, my assumption was that my game will not accept any new fixes/hotfixes/patches. However since this new fix, my game is crashing on launch!
I have not added any new mods recently and it was working fine until I launched it today after the new Patch. Any idea what the problem might be?
Thank you.

PS: One thing I can say about patches/new content in BL, thank goodness for mods! If it weren't for that, I don't believe I'd be playing this game for as long and as many hours as I have.

Apparently the developer no longer wants to add anything:
1.2.8 - fixes only.
1.2.9 - fixes only.
1.2.10 - fixes only.
Most likely nothing new is planned.
The developer could raise interest in the game by releasing his own small mods, this is low-cost and will arouse great interest among users.

Do you know what those 3 updates have in common? It's patch updates, not content updates. The way you read version numbers usual is "Major, Minor, Patch". So yeah.... Those 3 is patch releases within the same branch. Major would be radical changes to the game. Content changes would fall under minor. Why would you assume they add something to a patch update? Whatever they cooking for 1.3.x would be some sort of content update.

It's almost certainly one of your mods that conflicts with the new patch. Try disabling mods one by one until the game starts working again.

His point was the last three releases have been patched updates. It would be great if TW could even state if the next release was either going to be 1.2.X or 1.X.0, but we can't even get that out of them lately.

For all we know it could go up to 1.2.25 before we get 1.3.0

Some of us considered those "glitches" to be a feature, not a bad thing. We kinda enjoyed it. Anyhow, when will you fix the achievements that don't pop up when they are supposed to? It is currently impossible to 100% the game. The only patch I've found to be useful since the launch of the early access was the one that fixed skirmish MM, but fixing the achievements popping would be another one (and the skirmish MM one literally came out of nowhere and took 1.5 years to fix, lol). Btw, it is usually common practice to write down what exactly caused your previous bugs, or save those git branches, so that it doesn't happen again. Sometimes I feel like this reminder may be needed... Anyhow, this patch is amazing for all of the noobs who never knew about the glitches, as well as the b*tchy sweatlords that get annoyed at everything and take it seriously. I personally liked the glitches, but whatever. Fix the cheevos please!

Would be bad to release 1.3.x before you fixed issues with 1.2.x right? A bit like make sure you have support beams in order before you add another floor to a building.

Lol I don't bring one beam to site every other week when building a house. I generally do it in one go so that I can get the upper floor put on.

1.3 is going to come with its own issues and from what we can gather from the replies to the patch fixes on Reddit, steam and these forums, no one is experiencing these bugs and crashes, and especially when they aren't fixing the issues and bugs the majority of players are actually facing.

Stupid analogy.

Just mute him. The house doesn't even have a roof and he is talking about building additional floors. Look at his messages, all he has been posting for years is just defending the status quo. I don't think this amount of bootlicking is normal. No need to waste time

Didn't know I could mute people. Thanks! 🙏🏻

Additionally, here's a fact; No matter how many updates you make... According to the DB data obtained from Bannerlord's last 6 months of activity, it is a fact that the game is gradually declining... All clans/regiments are dissolving... Players are gradually reconsidering their existence in this game, and have even started to abandon it for a long time.
All content has a lifespan. How much have you added to the game in these 6 months?
I collected a dozen requests from users and corrected them, which took me one working day.
If TW creates a small innovation once a month, just like modders do, then interest in the game will be stable.

I'll add:
Perhaps you are only interested in online, but most likely the bulk of users are single player, I would draw attention to the fact that not a single mechanic in the game works either at all or as it should work, this is quickly determined by the players and interest in the game disappears.

If that was the case, everyone would still be sitting around playing PONG as long as people still did mod it. New games come along and compete over peoples available time to play all the time.
