Patch Notes v1.2.10-1.2.11

Maybe because we are fans of the franchise and we paid for something else?
Well, next time learn, research, read/watch reviews before paying for a game or anything else.
If the game doesn't live up to your expectations, it's totally your fault, not TWs.

Besides, I've played about 900 hours of this game.
This game is in my personal TOP 5 best games I ever played, and I've been playing video games since 1993 (NES, SEGA, SNES, 3DO, PS1, PS2, PC...).
Yes I experienced some bugs and crashes, couple of times I even started a new playthrough because of that.
But mostly it was fine, I was able to conquer whole Calradia in about 1500 of in-game days, completed my playthrough, without serious issues, had a lot of fun.
Maybe because I used only a few most popular time-tested mods I haven't experienced that much crashes as people say.

Before buying the game I read user reviews and watched video-reviews on YouTube.
I knew that the game had issues but bought it because there were noticeably more positive reviews than negative ones.
Do I regret? NO, I'm absolutely glad that bought it.
I have over 40 games in my library, some of them are twice as expensive but much less fun and satisfying, could play only 2-3 hours before gave up.
On the other hand, this game gave me about 900 hours of fun and I will play it again once major update will come out.

I believe the devs made their best. After all, TW is not a giant gamestudio with unlimited resources and top-tier gamedevs.
Is this game perfect? NO. Playable? YES. Fun? Definitely. Worth's its price? Sure it does.

Agree people need to stop complaining about this game and Devs, game is also one of my all time favourite games,
It looks like as commented by one off Devs they still working on game but nothing to report and progress will be know when closer.

So guys seriously just chill wait a few more weeks or month to next patch update and get on with your life's lol

Is this before or after the 3 years of EA most of the rest here are mentioning? The game barely met it's own expectations, and that's the issue; nor did it do anything to say it's cancelled any of said expectations or tempered them. If it did, we shouldn't be expecting some impending patch no one (even TW too) has a clue as to what it's for.

That's the thing, it's very, very hard to even see evidence of this "best" effort. If this truly is their "best", kind of disappointing. Especially considering there's a lot of mods out there that improve upon the base/core game (within the limit of mods) within a day or two; you know, those same core time-tested mods you probably have on.

This was a very decent patch, one that all people were hoping and anticipating for and, while it could not satisfy everyone it really worked its charms to change the way everyone thinks about the game.

did you play warband+mods?
those who did, are extremely frustrated because we expected and wanted warband+mods+smoothness+qol+AI playing by the same rules as the player instead of abstraction.

we did get smoothness+qol features+extremely nice features like having kids.

but they removed roleplaying features from warband like interactions with lords and ladies and changed the game to be a war simulator instead of a lord simulator.

it is very annoying because the extra features and smoothness prevent you from going back to warband but the lack of interaction and the constant wars prevent you from playing bannerlord.

Good for you but I honestly don't care and now, please, can I be free to be disappointed? Nowhere has ever been stated that the engine is broken and unfinished and since this is something modders can't fix, I'm absolutely free to be upset with tw for what they sold me.

I believe the devs made their best.
Bannerlord has the worst diplomacy in history of videogames, the worst perk system (and, consecutively, leveling in general) and some of the dumbest AIs I have ever seen in my life. If this is considered their best effort, I shudder to think what it's like when TW is at their worst.

After all, TW is not a giant gamestudio with unlimited resources and top-tier gamedevs.
Ah yes, it is a well-known fact that only giant gamedev houses with unlimited resources can produce more than 1 game of barely acceptable quality per decade. It's not like studios such as Klei, Triumph, Mimimi, Iron Tower, Logic Artists, Almost Human, Fatbot, Image & Form, Failbetter, Frozenbyte, Moon and many, many others exist, right?

I don't understand what is going on. TW had something great here. I would personally love to understand what went wrong with this game. Looking at the code, it's really messy. Was there really no money or time to spare for a person or two to clean it up? Did you plan to redo most everything from scratch again so you didn't bother? Are you still planning on doing that, like they did with No Man's Sky? Do you guys need help with anything, like cleaning up code and so on? Do you want this project to ever be finished?

This cuts both ways. Technically, the day they left early access was the day they did a "full release," as is the industry norm. It is objective fact that they have released content in addition to fixes since then, even if we are not satisfied with the quantity, quality, or pacing of it. "Release" now is just an announcement of a game leaving beta/EA, not a statement that work is stopping.
Is there a good chance of a messenger system so that the player doesn't have to travel the map for hiring mercenaries, marriage, lord recruitment etc.?

Hello! Give the ability in the company settings to choose between a random selection of battle maps and those linked to the global map! I'm sick of the fact that border battles are constantly taking place on the same maps, and to see half of the other battle maps you need to drag yourself across the entire map, and there's no one to fight except looters! Is there a mod for random battle maps or where and what file in the game needs to be changed for this? Please tell me.
