Patch Notes v1.2.10-1.2.11

Users who are viewing this thread

When communicating with the developers, we understood!
1.It's not worth waiting for something new
2.We just sit on the fifth point and get paid
3.There will be no diplomacy
4.There are still a lot of fixes and little content
5.We promise you that many modders will leave the game
6.Previously, updates were once 1-3 months, but now they are per year )
7.If not mods, then the game has long gone into oblivion
8.Useless promises and pointless hopes for something good
9.Abandoning the game is like spitting into a wall and doing something good is a weakness for you
10.Do you want additions? You won't see them because we're busy
11.Release updates once a year and think that the players will thank you?
12.Diplomacy should be much expanded, a marriage of convenience, friendly relations between kingdoms and not like in vanilla (a good attitude means you will declare war)
13.The game is raw, I felt your update only in version 1.7.0 and then nonsense...

v1.2.11

While the previous hotfix v1.2.10 fixed a number of crashes and bugs, it also introduced a console crash that occurred during combat missions. To resolve that, we've just released Hotfix v1.2.11. This may be confusing as we're currently in the process of testing Beta v1.2.11 (which includes the multiplayer lobby-related refactor). The multiplayer refactor patch will be released to Live as v1.2.12 when the necessary tests have concluded.

Consoles
  • Fixed a crash that occurred during combat missions (such as siege and battle) due to the corruption of agents' positional data.

Even though we fix what we broke in the previous patches with each patch, we still can't cope with the new bugs that appear.
:This is not a joke: :!:

Hello,
since update 1.2.11 it won't let me build siege tools from the map (which means I can't take any cities/castles)
I play on PC with Game pass so I can't go back to the previous version (1.2.10) which worked well for me.
Am I the only one or is it a new bug?

As we noted in the release plans, while we intend to continue supporting the title, it has ultimately been fully released. Any further base game updates we make will as such likely have a greater period between them.
Fully released. What a disapointment this game turned out to be

He stated that the game is no longer Early Access but fully released, he never said they considered it "finished". Just give him a break, TW knows that abandoning the game as it is would be their grave.

it's not even finished lol, its incredibly shallow. and they might ass well have abandoned the game, only 2 bugfixes a year

The bar to "release" is near neglible in today's standards, and TW here takes it to a new low really; if not one of the early pioneers of it with MB that started this bs. Early access is also "fully released".

I think most here, when we are accepting a released game, is a complete copy, not a rough draft; the latter, keep in EA or beta. Especially if one demanding money for said "product".

Even so, instead of putting it in a tiny sentence threaded in this post, how about TW says that PR "fully released" statement out as a communication update on steam page, official thread, or otherwise? There's only a handful of us here opposed to the rest of the players not on this forum that are dealing with the same incomplete mess that we are.

My guy, this is the grave. We are standing in it. Taleworlds doesn't have the community to support another ten year development or the credibility to convince anybody they can make a good game on a normal production cycle. TW is done. They pared down staff long ago. There's a skeleton crew cashing checks from Steam, and when those dry up they will turn the lights off. This is it.

Well, according to some places like linkedin, TaleWorld had a 13% growth in head counts over the last six months. But of course, I'm sure you sitting on sources knowing better right?
