Do you think 1.0.4 should include most of these changes?

This is what I would like to see:

• Added option to disable (or reduce) reinforcements in battles by either restricting warband/army size or "merging" units from reserve into stronger units by increasing stats like hp & attack speed. (2 into 1 for example) Both rules can be enabled at the same time and adjusted during your campain.

Lol loved reading this thread. If you're mad that the AI's puny little fiefless terrorist organization won't stop raiding your empire then obviously they're doing something right. If they're annoying you and you want them to stop why would they pay you lol. Maybe they're selling smithed two handed swords to fund their guerilla war with you.

Or maybe the game should provide ways to stop/alleviate the situation, crazy I know! This is a (crap) mechanic with the only solution being to chop a head; not very enjoyable.

There are four massively unrealistic things happening.

The first is that due to randomly generated kingdom bank cheat money and tribute being paid from other factions (who they could never realistically threaten all at once), the AI gets a magical source of constant income which allows them to spam enough armies to be a credible threat. If they have no fiefs, a "little terrorist organisation" in a time period without bombs should not be so disproportionately effective. They should only be able to field tiny parties that struggle to even raid a village successfully.

The second is that they will never make peace because they don't value their own lives at all, don't fear being executed to the last man, and have total and utter stupid confidence every time. This problem includes kingdoms that still do have fiefs. They should fear losing their last fiefs in a war. And if they do lose them all, in real life not every deposed monarchy became an instant insurgency ready and willing to fight to the death. Usually the ruler just fled into exile when they lost everything, which is what Warband did.

The third is that *all* of my lords will unanimously vote as a hivemind, every time, on paying tribute. In real life some lords would not give a damn about someone else's fiefs getting raided and would vote no to giving up some of their income as tribute. Or, they would vote no because they thought they could beat the raiders (which ingame is very possible).

The fourth is that executing these actual criminals who are constantly raiding your fiefs and attacking your peasants will make you lose an enormous amount of relation with the international community. No such thing as a legal or justified execution apparently.

Do you rule the kingdom? Do you lack the influence to enforce a state of war?

This is all working as intended by TW.

This new guy recognizes whining when he sees it lol:

It is better to add dynamic weather and day-night cycle, and the moon at night should have moonlight, the stars should also be more refined, rain should have wet effect, and fire should have the physical effect of lighting buildings

More so just poor game design planning; executions/persistent kingdoms being 'annoying' is one of those end results - and they don't know how to (or can't be bothered to) fix it further. Or maybe the dev that spearheaded that stuff originally is no longer there and they haven't found another able to replace that end of the project.
It 'works' in that it doesn't crash the game or anything; but that's pretty much been the whole dev/EA process. Strip away all the bug/crash fixes in patch notes, you'll see how few things were actually 'developed' over the course of, now, 3.5 years of (public) EA release.

I wouldn't say "Working as intended by TW" is a good standard though lol
Ah, now, that is a different discussion. Lots of people tie together Taleworlds..... struggles to deliver what they want with a lack of vision or intent.

To be sure, it is difficult to separate them, but there is a rationale behind ALL the code delivery, whether simple human fallibility or actual intent.

And eternal terrorism by little bands of defeated scum? That feels intentional.

No I want pregnant belly and equip able babies... like you equip them as weapons or assesories. Also did you read the patch notes for last couple versions? They do less then 1% of that amount of changes.
I just pictured Ira charging into battle swinging our son like a battle axe screaming, "I am the only Heir!!!"

We are now 3 months since this post has been made with almost no movement on any of the biggest issues with the game.
