Patch Notes v1.1.3

Users who are viewing this thread

It's based off job ads from Taleworlds that said "sci-fi" and other things that looked like prototyping for a new game.
However, now that we are talking about it, it seems strange they made no announcements. Maybe they got burned on their hype for Bannerlord and lay low until they are sure they have a game. Maybe it got canceled. Taleworlds certainly won't tell us.
We'll eventually find out in some random interview to some obscure Turkish media.
If they are making a space game then I hope they learn from Bannerlord and do better with it. Also, it would be nice to have a patch today.

Question for the devs, so we can't marry our female player characters to rebels anymore? Some saves I have can't be loaded anymore and they have that in common that I had my character marry a rebel. I did this because its an easy and cheap way to marry someone to my character with decent stats and marriage is sometimes to expensive in time and money early game. It helped with making offspring early game.

Another question; is intended for raiding caravans to not have a relation penalty anymore? I have been doing it with no relation loss.

Don't think that was intended in the first place. Once a rebel clan is defeated all the members of it go up in smoke...

That does not happen unless a recent hotfix changed this. I have seen unaffiliated clans with huge families that mass produce clan members. I like this so I can beat them up for great loot and the marriage thing. I wish I could recruit them rather than what some want of them.

They had open job vacancy's for "unannounced" project for a good while. Nothing uncommon for a game studio to work on a unannounced project. Quite sure they will announce it when they good and ready for it.
You are a professional contrarian and often wrong because for some reason you rush to defend the company no matter what.
If your project is unannounced but running for 2+ years, then there's probably a problem. Studios are quick to announce new games even when they have nothing but a trailer unrelated to actual gameplay. Maybe the new game is again in development hell or silently canceled.

If TW's full staff/team is on BL, makes it even more pathetic given what actually comes out every ~3 months. If it was only a small team with the rest on a new IP, gl on the next game and those who want to wait 10yrs for a half-assed BL in space. They don't feel like they did this game a disservice so that culture/mindset won't change either for the next game.

Take a game studio such as InXile they have 2 projects in the pipeline that is unannounced and just have codenames. There is nothing strange in the industry to have such unannounced projects running.

As for release unrelated trailers. Over recent years I don't think game studios is served with the backlash some of that have created.

If they make their next game like they made Bannerlord, it won't be good. Even if Mount and Blade is not a popular saga I think being an established IP definetly added to the success of Bannerlord, now if they make something else and it has the same quality... Things will go bad

Even if it's a completely different genre/engine - I think BL is the last one for me with TW (short given only '2' games published); don't think I'm going to even grab DLCs out of principle.
Just 'finish' the damn game so mods can flourish and I can do one last hurrah playthrough and be done with it; as that was my something I decided early on in EA.

I bought farming simulator few weeks ago. There I can actually watch the grass growing 🖖

Next big patch will be a paid dlc. They probably already working on a couple.
Yeah. I think that's the case. There's no possibility that TW worked three months but yielded just a tiny patch. A DLC might be stated half a year later I guess. They're too slow.

What a shame won't be wish-listing anything from these devs. All Interns  and they put out paid DLC pathetic when the game isn't even halfway finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if Taleworlds is aware that their refuse to communicate leads to all these wild speculations and increases the doubt of them being capable to finish this faulty product. Can´t really blame anyone who decides to give up on them.

TW thought they would cash in by "officially releasing" the game and that life would continue to be beautiful as always.

but people are not all stupid and not everyone is fooled. you can't have it both ways. you can't "officially release" a half-baked, broken product and expect users to be as forgiving as they were for 12 years in beta.

but they did expect that.

and continued to release half-baked, untested, and poorly coded patches that break both the game and mods as they have been doing for so long hoping we'd be happy to test them out for the but were soon called out for their unethical, shameless and totally unprofessional practice. if this game were more mainstream (as it could have been) there would have been a massive uproar everywhere.

so the reason they don't show up around here is probably because they still have some shame left, and know they are on the wrong and that the mood here isn't as it used to be two, three, years ago.

Nah, I don´t think so. They don´t even have to deal with it peronal. Just need to pay someone to deal with the angry mob. That´s what PR deparments are for. Some people make their living to make a flaming turd bag look pretty.
