  • Fixed AI aiming for ranged siege weapons.
  • Relation penalties no longer apply in cases where “Show Mercy” is the only siege aftermath option.
  • Fixed an issue with siege ladders falling back to the ground after going beyond the exact vertical position if the raising operation was cancelled before the ladder reached the wall.

Character Development System
  • Decreased the chance of dying of old age for all heroes except the player.
  • Improved the way attribute and focus points are distributed for the AI.
  • Fixed inconsistencies in character creation adolescence phase with the smith family.

Clan and Party
  • Fixed a bug that caused clan roles to be deleted after being assigned.

Kingdoms and Diplomacy
  • Fixed a bug that caused dialogue to become stuck when proposing a marriage alliance for yourself.
  • Fixed a bug that caused clans to propose to annex the wrong settlement.

Economy and Trade
  • Fixed a bug that caused item tiers to be calculated incorrectly. This bug also prevented workshops from producing lowest tier and highest tier items.

Settlement Actions (Town, Village, Castle and Hideout)
  • Increased the relation gain from companions in settlements from 3 to 5.
  • Decreased the relation gain chance from companions in settlements.
  • Companions in settlements are now only able to gain relation once per day with either a noble or a notable.
  • Nearby parties will no longer join force a village to give supplies and force notables to give recruits map events.
  • Fixed a visual bug that caused prisoners in a castle to be displayed on the keep overlay instead of the dungeon.
  • Fixed a bug that caused trade rumors in taverns to be incomplete.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some prisoners to be transferred to the garrison and militia which caused them to disappear from the settlement prisoner donate/manage screens.

Quests & Issues
  • Added a new quest named "Betting Fraud". Quest summary: A gang leader offers you a deal to fix 5 tournaments and share the profit from the bet winnings.
  • Player clan members will no longer be able to give the following quests. If a quest giver becomes a player clan member during an active quest, the quest will be cancelled.

  • The player can no longer take the following quests if their clan owns the settlement. If the player becomes the owner of the settlement during the quest, the quest will be cancelled.

  • Improved controller support for mounted movement.
  • Double-tap acceleration and slowing down for mounts is now related to the weight of the mount.
  • Fixed an issue with some shields having the left-hand collision capsule partially outside of the shield’s physics body, preventing melee attacks from being properly defended.
  • Ballista will now fire in the exact same position if the player doesn't move the cursor during the reload process.

Modding​

  • Heightmap selection dialogue now remembers the last used folder.
  • Added a warning to catch duplicate removals of entities.
  • Animations now support switching the item on the right hand to the left, and back. The appropriate flag for this is "switch_item_between_hands" which can be set in the editor. The addition of "hand_switch_data" to the animation is then also required to be set in the editor.
  • Damage Particles are now moddable. A new GameModel named DamageParticleModel has been added. By creating and using a new model class inherited from DamageParticleModel and overriding needed functions modders can choose damage particles very precisely according to collision properties.
  • banner_icons.xml is now moddable. Modders can include their own banner_icons.xml in their modules under "{MODULE_NAME}/ModuleData/banner_icons.xml". Sigils, backgrounds and colours defined in these XMLs will extend the native banner icons.
  • Added editor visuals that show ranged siege weapon trajectories.
  • Languages are now moddable. Modders can now change options for all languages by providing their own options file. (see Native/ModuleData/Languages/[ID]/[id]_options.xml).
  • Moved occupation field to the Hero class from CharacterObject class, making occupations moddable.
  • Made character creation modder friendly.
    • CharacterCreationStages are now moddable. Modders can decide explicitly which stage types should be included and in what order in CharacterCreationContentBase. They can use their own stage types.
    • Fixed a few bugs that could crash the game when new cultures are used in character creation.
    • Exposed CharacterCreation.CharacterCreationMenus to modders.
    • Most functions', fields' enums' protection levels in StoryModeCharacterCreationContent and SandboxCharacterCreationContent have been changed to protected from private.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred while sieging settlements with custom cultures.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred if the submodule.xml had a comment in it.

10 GB of nothing as usual ...
they are waiting with crossed fingers for MP community to finally die so they don't need to bluff anyone anymore with the argument that the game is **** due to EA thing or with some similar gibberish

Thanks for this. I spent so much time to get the CharCreation work with new culture. I hope this will solve the issues...

How about you add option to remove corpses completely. Warband has this option and its 10 years older ?
GIVE THEM TIME HOLY CRAP WTF STOP TRYING TO RUSH THEM THIS IS A VERY INTRICATE ISSUE AND CANT JUST BE FIXED IN A DAY HOW DARE YOU COME ON TW FORUM AND INSULT THEIR DEVS FOR SHAME

you absolutely need to fix the pixelated graphic bug. Your game is unplayable.
I don't think it looks bad. It feels now that there is wear and tear on your equipment. Before armor and other textures were always shiny and polished even after a thick and nasty battle/fight.

What? The game looks blurry, it's not just the armor and weapons. I am playing on ultra settings and this is a drastic drop in quality.

Disable sharpening thats causing the pixalated bug.

this might seem like something minor that gets overlooked when reading through the patch notes but it has changed the endgame considerably. before 1.6.3 i was cruising to world domination but now Vlandia, Battania, and Sturgia are sending infinite armies at me and my faction's AI lords arent really helping me, so it has been rough, i've had to cede some ground. it makes the imprisonment of enemy lords super important now but most dungeons are full with regular troops the AI doesnt do anything with
 
is anyone else making progress in their late-game campaigns with this perpetual war change? as soon as i defeat the Vlandian army, i have to deal with the Battanian army coming up behind them, then i noticed that the Aserai showed up and started sieging while Sturgia took Rhotae and Amprela. its just my 1 army trying to deal with this all, i see that my faction has like 2 or 3 armies elsewhere not really getting anything done, like they will gather up 1600 troops and then start walking slowly to siege an enemy city and then change their minds and start walking elsewhere.

i don't think this is a good change

also because of the garrison & food changes you can no longer build up a settlement's garrison because they will lose troops each day. now you have to babysit the settlement 24/7 yourself. Lageta is just flipping every 5 minutes, you can't do anything about it except camp there for weeks
