Pretty nasty bug with sieges. I just sieged a castle that had a garrison of 200 men with my 600 troops. The top of the screen that shows forces preview swapped all of my men to the garrison force and enemies to the attacker under each others enemy flag. So the a.i sallied out upon loading into battle the correct forces loaded which meant the a.i sallied out 200 men vs my 600 and of course basically gave me the castle without having to siege.
This is not new, the bug was present at the previous version too.
 
Theres nothing wrong with wanting to play with friends, or even wanting to play competitively against similar skilled players. But expecting it to be a priority is a bit ridiculous. I love the MP, but people need to keep in mind it will be on the back burner for, probably, quite some time. And balance/changes to the MP as a whole is more important than making sure a competitive community can thrive.

Yeah, when the game was released. You're expecting them to cater to a competitive scene before the game has actually launched, during a time for testing. before the single player is even in a fully functioning state. This is not the time for a competitive scene to develop. There are far more pressing issues even in MP when it comes to balances/features.

which is exactly why changing the MP in a worse direction is kinda pointless, no?
 
Just tell me - are you blind or cant read? we made the s o l u t i o n to help MP

I was referring to people stating they're intentionally going to run 6 mans now to stomp people until they quit, there's really no other way to understand that bud.
 
Again, you are creating the situation. Complaining that no one can take you on, and then complaining no one should take you on is one stroking yourself then any sort of constructive criticism. Breaking into two teams of three and training up some new players would be a better use of your time and energy.

I cant play with my friends because you cant beat us? That's pretty interesting opinion (no). That's the matchmaking problems, not ours. We don't must to start play worse because of bad matchmaking. The purpose of any activity - is be better and better in it. If developers doesn't want to make good matchmaking and game modes to increase the popularity of multiplayer, it is not our problem. Why we must to take care of community if even developers doesn't care?

They force us to play versus randoms? Okay! I will collect a pack of the most cruel beasts and we will stomp every public we meet. No any fun or chances to randoms. Only tryhard. We will slaughter them like cattle on spawn until they leave and never come back.

+ I think it is a good reminder, yes. All multiplayer events in Warband were organized by players themselves. And its true not only for competitive Warband, but for all of the multiplayer mods: cRPG, NW, Mercs, PW etc. Just give us opportunity and tools to make it again. Thats all we need
 
I have never experienced the bug previous despite having 155 hours. But i experience with new beta on my very first siege.
Well, I've scarcely experienced any bugs as well, but since I've launched the game at 1.3.0, in literally 15 minutes I've been loaded into a castle 500 vs 500 massacre instead of town siege scenario, and now I get stable crash when I bring weapons to a gang leader in his quest. And also many mods are now dead, disable them.

Jesus, we need to create another topic for MP players. One huge update for MP and they are already drowned this topic with "TW WHY?" messages.

We're not expecting them to cater to us. We startet to create a solution here and we don't want to harm it.
We want to help this community to improve and to withdraw the stacks and the clans from public matches so these people can have fun.

Do you want us - paying customers for 10+ years - to uninstall the game or what?

That's fine, you're completely justified in doing that and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. You just can't say that and also claim you care about the health of multiplayer. You may care about your clan and that they can fight other clans, but you clearly don't care about retaining a general multiplayer audience. That's obvious.

You're wrong. People gave up on the MP changing in a good way so they're trying to force TW to make good changes. This will hurt MP in the beginning, sure. It's for the greater good.

its not his job to do so... if i visit a restaurant its not my job to get them more customers aswell. Matchmaking shouldve never been released without a skill based system.
 
First of, let me just congratulate all the devs on this fantastic game that has already given my +200 hours of exciting joy in this quarantine time, and the great work that has been done on patching the game so frequently. Thank you Taleworlds!

However, I am really looking forward to the full RPG experience, and although I understand that the main focus of the early access is based on fixing the stability of the game, I think we would really like to know how things are going with fully implimenting all the perks. As of today, I am stil not getting the "One Step Ahead" perk, or the "Reeve" to work. Hope you can find the time to either fix these issues, or give us a little info on when these fixes might be implemented.

That's literally what I just said. He's completely justified in stomping new players until they quit and he has no obligation to do anything else. He just can't do that and claim to want to foster the multiplayer community, does not compute, is that hard to understand?

Must have walked in while they were taking a group ****!!!

Definitely need fixing, but is rather hilarious
 
You're wrong. People gave up on the MP changing in a good way so they're trying to force TW to make good changes. This will hurt MP in the beginning, sure. It's for the greater good.

More likely it will just chase people away and with bannerlord being primarily a single player game with no microtransactions I'm sure they probably won't even notice, hell it's already dropped like crazy for multiplayer since release and they don't seem to have noticed at all. You may be greatly overestimating your leverage.

Your solution is a temporary one to try and set of competitive matches using a system not designed for them and if that interferes and causes issues with non competitive players, they obviously aren't going to make their changes based around your system.

Simply wait for custom servers to be implemented.
 
Maybe stop making 6 -man super teams if it's a problem? You are one creating the scenario you describe, not TW.


Why are you using a bunch of mods on BETA? That is HARDLY TWs fault.

Stop yelling at me, I quite clearly stated vanilla as well. The zealots man, sometimes I'd like to kick them right in the SHINS :grin:
 
Ahh yes a menavlion nerf whyy did it need to be nerfed? Guess that's another weapon I gotta smelt down now I will miss it a lot
