I would agree with this. Remove workshop and companion caps, or set them much higher. We need to make loot! You could also let caravans be created without a companion, seems a waste of a slot. Have to search around the world for a spice trader or a random scrub to add to my caravans.

Gimme the loot!

Workshop cap is fine for.me as for companions they plan to finish the clan feature and your family members are not counted as companions. With many children You have almost infinite source of governors, caravans etc.

Good points. Will be nice when the family feature is fully implemented. It does take awhile for them to age though, will most likely finish the game before they come of age.

From TW movements I think they want to extend gameplay to the point where You actually would need to use them. Hope it will be like that.
 
Game is in a much better shape since the hotfix , sadly i still get a bug where a couple of wanderers don't show their correct locations in the Encyclopedia.
This time it's Tulul of the Wastes seemingly being in an aserai town but if i go there he's a no-show.
And that sucks so hard cause i want his scouting mojo.
Happened on a previous playthrough too with Gerta the Black , but i managed to find her in another city tavern even though the encyclopedia page never updated her location. She always showed as being in Rovalt.

I also get a new crash since the hotfix , but it's random and pretty rare ,
happens when i engage looters on manual fight. Crashes on battle loading screen.
Did the send dump file thingie , hope they figure it out.

Also great work on the villagers + caravan. They work like a charm on new games at least.
 
Dear developers, there is a problem during the battles. During the battle, all characters are covered with black textures. This has never happened before.
Video card GTX 1060 6 GB. I played at very high settings, lowered to high, the problem remained.

Turn off "Screen Space Reflection" in performance options.
 
Sorry for your inconvenience. Are you experiencing this in Custom Battles or battles from the Campaign? Is it for the first entry or does it happen every time within multiple runs? Do you use any mods? Which OS version are you using? Do you have an HDD or an SSD? Thanks in advance.

Just wanted to say i started a new save and turned down FPS from 200 to 144 and everything is fine now in both campaign and custom battles. I also noticed improvements in sieges with 1.2 patch. Thanks for everything.

I suppose we have a different sense of humor, given how enraged some people on this forum seem to be about everything I would not go around making jokes of that nature myself but I suppose that's just me.

Also not entirely sure I understand what you mean with that, but no I can't say that I have ever been taught to jokingly wish someone who is trying to do their job was dead.
 
Fair enough, I was definitely joking though, and unless you're the guy in question I fail to see why you're getting so worked up about it. By the way, are you like the official online defender of taleworlds? Cause you're running defense all over the place...

It's pretty common humor for the past quite a while "how are you doing today?" "I want to die" "same, same" pretty common to joke about death. Also saying "I hope whoever did _____ die's in (insert horrible death here)" is also pretty common. I've heard it regularly when people eat other people food left in the fridge at work, or even when we have to do some terrible job that seems hair brained. There's absolutely nothing odd about it other than taking it seriously, I'm sure the guy doesn't want to dev's to die for changing the game just as I don't want my coworker to die for eating my pudding, but that's almost... common sense.
 
Ok my save game from 1.3 before patch fix started ok after saving and leaving the game. i went back to it and could not get the save to work. i done everything like restarting the computer. look at game files .. even installed 1.2 then reinstalled 1.3 but still the save would not start.. so i started a new game. thats ok but after some time i was playing i do like to see were the wonderers are as i do like to have many of the girls in my team.anyway it was then i see there is only 3 in the encyclopedia .. now i no why my save from the other game would not work.as none of the girls from my save are there.. thought i would let you no for anyone thats gone though the same.

  • Added a cooldown for players who have left the game more than the allowed times in a given time frame. Currently, players who left matchmaker games 2 times in the last 3 hours will be blocked from matchmaking for 15 minutes. Note: these values anytime without requiring a patch if necessary or if we encounter issues.

If you don't want people to leave, maybe don't send them to server where their ping is 120 min while it use to be 30ms on Warband an d60ms on some bannerlord custom servers...
 
person who made this possible in the simulator needs to die, as painfully and slowly as possible, then brought back to life and killed again, and repeat until my tier 6 horseman in maIl armor comes back to life !

It's the way you wrote the dying method down on the death note.. It is a terrible way to die for sure. ^^

Same for me. I think it is missing a version checker, not in place or not working right.
Usually a prompt will come to tell you the version is wrong, are you okay to proceed. This is missing.

Feels like something a hotfix can fix, saw before in the release of beta 1.2.0 (patiently waiting...)
 
Weapon Balance
  • Menavlion Length Decreased 200 > 179
  • Menavlion Damage Decreased 147 > 129
  • Heavy Menavlion Damage Decreased 177 > 166
  • Long Menavlion Damage Decreased 149 > 137

This is called putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.

If anything, slightly lowering the menavlion's length makes it more wieldy in a team melee fight. The problem has always been these long goofy-looking sticks one-shot everything -and do it far better than their 2H cousins like axes, swords, hammers, voulges, and falxes. The modest damage reduction did little to reduce their devastating power.

And when did the menavlion's swing speed get raised to 83? What is going on here?

Please fix the "Save failed!" issue, it's very game breaking if we cannot save.
