Patch Notes e1.0.4

Great work, enjoying it a lot.

I'm seeing a lot of vassals running around with the majority of their army wounded while trying to reform after a loss, the result of this is obviously that they get caught by a few hostile bands and then have to start all over again. They pretty much repeat this pattern until they don't have anymore money. I think this could be a potential cause for why we're seeing so many poor vassals. I hope this could help sus things out.

Memory leaks are still present. Each load = +300 mb. Now I clicked "load" immediately after loading - +another 300 mb.
Agreed. I was monitoring my memory usage and noticed the spikes and build up in memory happens each time I re-load a save. It feels like the game is caching resources if you keep loading continuously.

The problem goes away when you exit the game completely and then start the game.

It was already a problem in Warband, sadly. Hope they can do something about it in Bannerlord. For now, I need to stop savescumming..

If you have used the crash reporter and send us the necessary files after the crash, we are probably investigating the crash. Sorry for the inconvenience.

As far as I know, e1.0.4 is not that big patch. But as always I can't give an ETA on patches. But, you should know our teams are working hard!
thanks very much, but i think you must create thread for palyer sugestion for very main problems lik SNOWBALL maybe we can help with ideas.

steam üzerinden indirdim oyun e1.0.0 açılması modsasında e1.0.2 görnüyor güncelleme yapmıyor sanırım

This patch seems to have almost totally fixed the stuttering for me. I didn't realise how much it was getting me down, makes the load times more bearable for me now.

I do think loading times have increased dramatically though - town scenes are taking 50-60 seconds now when before the latest patch they were 30-40 seconds. Might just be my system though, or maybe I'm just visiting the wrong towns!

The problems with item pricing are well known, but has anyone noted that markets don’t seem to refresh? After about 75 in-game days it looks like most places still have the same goods for sale. For example, in my current game there are only 2 cities in Vlandia (think it’s Ocs Hall and Ostican) that carry T5 chest armor. They’ve only carried one variant of T5 armor in the same quantity the entire game. Have not seen any T6 armor.

I bring it up because it’s sometimes not clear what is a bug and what is intentional. I’ve noticed that cities with smithies seem to carry more and better quality armor/weapons. It may be a coincidence, but if it’s a feature I think that part makes sense and is great. What isn’t great is if they always carry the same goods without variation. Does Vlandia only have one T5 chest variant? If not, those cities with smithies should refresh periodically to sell different variants. A periodic T6 popping up wouldn’t hurt either.

Damn, that's a lot. If at all possible, getting an SSD would dramatically reduce those load times. I haven't timed it, but I think even my longest load times are <10 seconds. I know money doesn't grow on trees but I'm just gonna throw it out there. If people have the option at hand, install Bannerlord on an SSD.

I know money doesn't grow on trees.

I appreciate the sentiment but your comment does insult my intelligence somewhat. I can't afford an SSD but I think it's quite sad if that's the only solution to some pretty ridiculous loading times.

Hello good sir, just wanted to ask if you are aware that almost all castles / towns are missing food or have 0 food, could this possibly be a reason for fiefs being surrendered easily and thus making the snowball effect grow?

Tank you.

Noob question :
Do the patches apply automatically on a Steam Native saved game ? Each time I load a saved game, i have a message asking If i want to play with mismatched modules ? I have to accept if I want to play.

The Aserai Recruits are still not not recruitable, since mamluke is my favorite unit tree thats a major issue for me please help, and please tell me if that i dont have to start a new game to have the patch effects, ive waited long and i enjoy it a lot ur work is great but that one thing freaks me out so hard i cant tell ive deleted the whole game and installed it new then deleted all my save files and created a new game but still no aserai recruits ???
also the new face markings dont show on character creatuion i can select them but nothing happens and the empty hand on banner creation still occurs but that looks like hes just making a fist so thats fine too
PS: THANKS, FOR, THAT, GAME, YOU, ARE, AWESOME!!!

^^^ I can confirm that the Aserai Peasants have not been replaced with Aserai Recruits (as stated in the e1.0.4 patch notes), even if you start a new game.

Tank you.

If you are still having issues launching the game, can you please try launching the game through the Bannerlord.Native.exe file located in
steamapps\common\Mount & Blade II Bannerlord\bin\Win64_Shipping_Client folder. IF you crash, it means that you don't have the necessary dependency files.
IF you can launch the game through Bannerlord.exe located in the same folder it means that launcher has an issue. You can try verifying the same cache.
