Last night my game was running nice and smoothly, today I installed this update and now it's laggy as hell...

even just scrolling through the settings has lag. this is so bad

Okay okay so i found the issue with this, the patch automatically changed the GPU the game was running on

In the video settings it changed my selected adapter from 'NVIDIA GeForce 1050 ti' to Intel HD Graphics 630... so thats why it was so laggy

So Forest Bandits just got even more ridiculous. Awesome.

There seems to be a memory leak, it just keeps balooning until taking up the roughly 21 gb of ram I have available after Windows and such. It takes a few battles and you know, entering cities to talk to people and such, but would seem that it caches too much information.

Oh my god yes. This is fixing so much stuff that made the game almost unplayable for me. Thanks for the hard work devs.

Dude what's the point of berating the devs on an early access game? Of course there will be people who are having issues. Instead of being ironic and complaining, why don't you send crash reports and describe your issue. That s how you can help.
Devs have already done a patch a day dince release, give them time to figure out the bugs and they ll solve them.

Pretty sure he was just thanking the developers for providing updates for the community. This is indicative in his previous posts where he says

Guys, just because a lot of these ingame crash/performance fixes are being put into place, it doesn't mean the devs aren't working on the more major game breaking issues as well.

It felt like sarcasm.
