Party sizes

Does anyone have any info on party sizes? In Warband players party sizes were pretty small, will the player party size be similar to that once again or will we have the opportunity to have a large party size I'm thinking 200-250.

Cant remember anything specific, but im pretty sure its been comfirmed parties will be able to be bigger, but we will still have to start from scratch with small parties. One thing you have to remember though, is that it will at times be far easier to bring other lords to the fight with the new influence system, where as i remember it, you send a message, costing influence, asking individual lords to come join you and then they come and help you in taking a keep or the like. You dont need to be a marchall for that anymore as i remember it. Just that will in general make battles bigger.

I wonder if, assuming other lords can do the same, how it will be controlled so that lord aren't spamming join army requests

Lords operate under the same rules as the player. So they also have an influence system that limits their ability to create large armies. Also, in one of the earlier dev blogs, I believe I saw 1000 men on the battle field being the goal. Don’t quote me on that

As poster below also said, all the lords follow the same rules as the player, so they will need to have influence to be able to send the same requests. Cant remember the details, but i think the Marshall had some other or cheaper way of doing it or just got more influence, think it was mentioned in a dev blog some time ago.
