Is it possble to have more than 50 party members(soldiers) with ya???
Like 200 - 300??
Or if not is there some mod for it, or they way you can edit it???

TNX

Party size is based on a base (10), Charisma (1 per point), Leadership skill (5 per point) and reknown (1 per 25 points).

Can one be successful as a general (say even making it to martial and such) without having a huge army (no larger than 150)?

Sure (Marshall) is based on luck, and relations w/ lords in your faction...

I think...

are there any other factors? renown?

people who aren't using cheats can eventually have the party size up to 300 or so. (cheaters can have the battlesizer up to the 100,000's+)

100,000? I couldn't be that patient.

Don't have to. because with cheaters i mean the people exporting there characters changing there Attri: to 999,999,999 (which will turn into 141059.. something) and it will give a party size of the same amount (141059.. some more numbers)

As a player who likes to try everything i afcourse have tried it too. you will never have enough soldiers to fill your army O.O

Nobody can have battlesizer up to 100,000, it's limited to 1000 or so. (A while since i have used it)
Beside, no computer can run that (practically).

With the morale in the game its rather hard to have an army of 150+ for a long time.

A good idea is to get a castle or a city to store your troops in. So, you roam around with 60-100 or whatever, attend in normal battles and such, and then when there's a big siege coming up you go to your castle/city and retrieve the men you want for the siege.

Largest army I've used was a bit over 150, and that was not a big problem, but I did have to fight all the time to keep morale up. And get food all the time. So, big inventory (for food) and high leadership (for morale) is really important.

If you boost morale up to 10 you could probably use an army of 250 without the greatest morale issue. But you would have to fight all the time.

I rarely use larger armies. When your army is made up of elites (like knights or huscarls) they can take on any lord as these have a mix of troops with mostly low and medium level units. I even prefer this in a siege as the defenders sally out of the gate and get slaughtered by my men.
The problem with huge armies is both food and morale, as long as you use the native settings these prevent you from getting huge armies. Of course I have more soldiers but these garrison my fief.

It depends if you willing to cheat. My cheat dude, Johtas, (you may have seen a video on the Hippy's famous exploits! ), has a charisma of aorund 1000 and can lead over a few thousand lads if he so chose. If you find a mod or one of magelords tweaks which allow you to increase the number of recruits you get, its fun for a while to go across Calradia with an army of expendable troops, or simply using autoresolve to win for once! I have my battle sizer on 400 to 500 and theres nothing like seeing the other guys army getting swamped close to my spawn point, watching his survivors finally finish off the last recruits and then have another wave of 200 hit him!

The problem with huge armies is the morale. Only the leadership skill (not charisma and reknown) increases morale so if you want to lead huge armies you best use TheMageLord's tweaks.

I prefer activating the mini map and seeing how the red flood gets soaked up by the small sponge that represents my army...

My Native (no cheats at all) character is capable of leading around 775 people right now.  It takes time to get that, but there isn't much point the way the game works.

Your max party size is 775, but can you actually lead 775 men for a few days ?

How many slots are used by food in your inventory ? How low is the morale ? How many deserters you got every day ?

-775 morale (at the least)

I dont think its possible w/o morale tweak!
