Bug:
That said I guess I can understand if there is a reason the clan member is not released as a result of the negative relationship between the player's clan and the prison-owning clan. For instance if the player has been executing nobles left, right, and center. But there should be some notice that a party member was not released despite it being expected due to the declaration of peace, and the reason being a relationship with a specific clan, so the player knows who's head take next.
Suggestion:
If any settlement is holding a clan member prisoner I think there should be some recourse, for instance casus belli to attack the prison settlement and only the prison settlement. This may cause the peace to fail.
Further suggestion:
If the settlement is captured, the army that won should maybe be able to decide to not conquer the settlement and only release the prisoners, but if they do keep the settlement, that may be casus belli for the other faction to retake that and only that settlement, or just declare war without cost.
- While the player is a vassal, have both a clan member (wanderer) and a noble within your faction (and in the player's clan, if married to the player) held prisoner by a faction at war with the player's faction.
- Have peace declared between the two factions.
- The noble will be released as a result of the peace, but the clan member will not.
