In the party view, you can for example see what category a certain troop is part of (i.e. infantry, archer, cavalry etc.) by an icon.
I think there should be a way to make the categories easier to group up in the party view so you can see easier how many there are of a certain category, it would also make it easier to maintain which kind you want to for example hire or kick from the party.
It could look like:

[Infantry (20) ]
[2] Sturgian Peasant
[8] Hired Blade
[10] Sturgian Shock Trooper
[Archers (30) ]
[20] Imperial Palatine Guard
[10] Sturgian Veteran Bowman
[Cavalry (10) ]

[5] Imperial Elite Cataphract
This way you always know where you have which kind of troop so you don't have to scroll around in the party list all the time to manage your troops.
There is no way to sort your troops yet as far i can see.
