ParMak [v0.2] - (Very) Lazy parties, places and people

... is a program that will let you easily create tonnes of:
  • Parties - ever had the need for making a lot of new towns? Copy, paste, paste, paste...
  • People - new parties require new NPCs, which means even more copy-paste.
  • Places* - you have to go somewhere, don't you? More copy-paste-paste-etc...
* This means "Scenes", but I wanted to keep the alliteration.

And the big news: You can bring the copy-pasting down to only around 10 times by using ParMak.

With ParMak, you can easily create a load of similarly-named parties and everything connected to them, instead of manually copy-pasting stuff a trillion times.
Should've published this a long time ago, but I always kept forgetting...
Look below for more info. You can see me making 60 new towns for TBS.
Parties window. This shows the randomization functions added in v0.2

Screens from v0.1:
First of all, the "Parties" window.

Next, the "People" tab. You can choose what people to create.
NOTE: The faces box seems to be unused.

And last, but not least, the "Places". You can generate all of the needed scenes for your parties.
This picture also shows the dialog you get when you press the "Copy" button.

wow nice... I love your tools Lumos... you are so.......... Lazy :p just as me

edit:

your parties have the id "Town_x" instead of "town_x", is that correct or it is just an old ss?
could be cool and "randomize coords" with max and min x and y

don't try to fix yourself, try to be yet more lazy, that way you would do much more useful stuff for us

you could also make an companion generator, that just copies the strings and randomize the module_scripts part

 already been moved to the tools section!!!

Sorry for not noticing.

It's an oversight, but I've been using them as "Town_x" for quite some time and I haven't found any errors. I don't think that the ModSys is case-sensitive.

I've never thought about coord randomization, but I could implement it alongside rotation randomization.

EDIT: (just a random thought) I could start a software company and call it "LazySoft".
EDIT 2: Damn, the name is taken...

When I first read this I thought "Why would I want parties in my mod to be lazy?" but when I saw that Lumos posted this....well...I knew what this was.

Thanks.
Specialist, if I may only quote the post I just made:
Lumos said:
minor Progress report:
Finished placing the villages for the first two factions. Took me around an hour and ten minutes.
The first faction (Sirathean Empire) has 93 villages.
The second one (The Old Tzardom) has around 105. I didn't really count them.

I'm still wondering if I should laugh or cry...
It's obvious why I needed to write this app.

hopes achieved....

:O thank you!

just a question, will it generate module_scenes code too?
you could make it get random scenes from a database.
