Parley crashes every time

I'm hanging in Sargot, trying to keep it. I've got 175. Dude has 400.

I've managed to critical success convince a besieging lord to join our cause and then.......CRASH. It's happened twice in a row. Guess I'm just gonna have to fight and die now.
