Parity ?

I once had an army of a 160 sword sisters, it was a pretty good army, they were very well balanced.
Yeah the shame is that they spawn without shields and helmets, rip against vaegir castles

I am not a troll, that you do not agree with me it is one thing but stop saying that I am a troll.
Alright dude, you are not a troll unless you starts trolling in my book, after reading the arguments presented to you on this thread can you share why do you believe an artificial parity between male and female troops would benefit the game? it isn't historical and even to this day women are a minority in the armies around the world, even more so in the past when they were the exception of the exception.

As i said before i'm not against female soldiers or nobles but within reason of course, a few troop types like peasants and sword-sisters + a few companions and commanders seems perfect to me.

People who purchase the game should be able to play however they want. Something being ahistorical isn’t relevant. This game isn’t about actual history.

No doubt there'll be mods that attempt to balance the ratio if someone really wants that. I'm not against it, I don't think it's some sort of "wokeness" or whatever to want that. It's equally valid to want a fair balance of men and women as it is to want a historically accurate balance of mostly men. TW will make the game exactly as they want, it's a fantasy setting so they have the freedom to do as they please. I think the current ratio makes sense and should appeal to most. But then again I am a male so of course it would seem fair to me with my privilege.

The OP reads as a bait but who knows. If you were sincere then I hope there'll be mods to scratch your itch.

An option to allow gender parity would certainly be enough. Or a mod. Either allows me to have my army of Valkyries.

The other post he had, that got deleted was making fun of LGBTQ inclusion, by using a meme/fake mod of Bannerlord and the comments there were quite counter to wanting equality in Bannerlord.

Ah. I saw that one. I restate: anyone who buys the game should have the option to do whatever they want to do.

Though, it’d be interesting to have heirs who prefer the same sex and might not reproduce.

Sheesh. I do not understand people who see it as a threat or something. I would welcome a mod that brought the whole spectrum of genders, sexualities and identities to the game. I understand why TW would choose not to do that and obviously it wouldn't be worth the time and effort in a game like this but if someone made a mod about that (which I think was what it was all about), I think it would be great. Everyone could choose to install it or not to, I absolutely don't get how it can be a joke. What's the joke exactly?

So I think we all agree that (as usual) in war... women were involved... but a very definite minority. To suggest otherwise is just plain silly. History first. I think we are all done here. If this was a troll attempt, then it failed. Thanks and goodnight.

The option for gender parity should be included. This game is set in a fantasy world, and players should have the option to play how they want to play.

Agreed on the failed troll, though. Way to go people! We had a civil discussion.

It can just be a mod - if enough people want it... then someone will make it happen. Just my opinion.

I find more interesting having like warband a generic female troop line (sword sister) plus in regular troops a percentage of female warriors that can change in each troop class and faction. For example could be only 5% but 10% for battania and 30% for wildling.

The problem could be tracking the sex when you get a promotion, we have already white people becoming nearly black and very old after a battle or dark haired people becoming blonde....a sex change would be silly.

There was quite a few users in that thread who knew it was a bad joke and just built upon it, while others made constructive additions as to it being possible in mods and discussed the historical aspect of gender identity. But sure enough, there were a couple of users who thought it was a serious topic and others criticized the OP for making the joke.

LOL, I new it was only a matter of time before this conversation would come up. You want women in your game? Learn to mod, this is a loosely based Medieval history game, it is not modern egalitarianism.

But one third of commanders are already women. It Is weird, also means that women can give orders to men but men can't give orders to women because no woman is humble enough to be a mere soldier.
