owning workshops like in warband?.

I saw on a thread about someone data mining the files, and saw about workshops (Weapon smith/armour smith mill tavern etc) being cut and I was wondering if at all that'd be a thing or if it's going to remain out of the game?. Just as an alternative to caravans
 
Workshops are in the game, he probably meant those specific workshops were cut. They sound like they perform the same functions as the Smithy and Wool/Linen Weavery for the weapons/armor and the brewery for the mill.

Tavern would be neat, though.

I was thinking perhaps you could use them for both profit and perhaps upgrading your garrisons armour/weapons. not make them invincible, but give them a nice flair, or something. perhaps having recruits of different cultures in it at random times like a melting pot, but I guess tha'll be addressed if religion and such is ever expanded upon/implemented

(this is where I got the confusion from/asked the question as I didn't know if it'd be a thing or not. I really like the game, yeah it crashes and it's annoying and the snowballing of the factions taking over eachother in early game is kind of sucky because it all feels to fast and yeah. but it's a lovely game and I would like to try and find ways or ask how it could be made better.
