Overthrowing ?

So, I kinda like that the kings and queens are mostly egocentric assholes that want everything for themselves. But I wish there was some way, some difficult but possible path to overthrow them and get revenge for all they have done - without leaving the kingdom.

Yeah, neat idea. Perhaps convince at least 5 lords to join you in a rebellion and then the empire splits into civil war with the other lords choosing various sides to balance things out nicely? Basically a new faction springs up that is instantly at war with the first?

From what I heard there is a rebellion feature but it hasn't been implemented yet.

I'm dieing for this to be implemented. I'd even enjoy something as 'simple' as, befriend the king to a certain level where he allows you to enter his quarters to discuss matters of war etc and then you poison him.
