OSP packs which could be useful for us

I kind of like them. I mean, you don't see a lot of women in M&B, but when I see them, I like them to be pretty. But I agree with CCCK, too much makeup on these women. The history of makeup is something I'm not very deep into, but I would bet they did not put on makeup to go to war.

I'd like to add these ones but keeping the old ones too. It's not a matter of making all women pretty, but to have more interesting face-skins. But I think it's not an easy thing.

Hey, I believe these Chinese made this with real women. I think I recognise Liv Tyler and Anne Hathaway.

Here, Anne Hathaway, yes or no?

Yes., she looks a lot like her. I also like th faces, some look real enough for a videogame.

but being ugly is historical accurate! What kind of pretty woman are we talking about?
Being beautiful is historically accurate as well. A bit rarer than today (oh, we're oh-so-beautiful/handsome, aren't we?), but still - beauties existed in those times as well. And not everyone was scarred by the pox, war or some other medieval malady...
Though, I'd say the main problem with M&B's faces is not so much the skins, but rather the meshes - some of the randomized faces I've seen in M&B are the most hideous faces I've seen in any game. But, yeah, some skins can help (I remember seeing PoP's male faces at first and I was just staring for minutes, thinking how much more realistic those eyes are). Even a few dollish skins, as long as they're not used too much and are left mostly for the player to choose for his/her character from them...

*puts back my regular not-quite-beautiful (but still pretty) avatar*

No more offtopic after this point, please.
Off topic?
We were just discussing the subjectivness of beauty, which is connected to the current topic of female faces.
No off topic there...
Which brings me to...

Yes, she is definitely Anne Hathaway.
Which actually makes me rethink my initial thought that these faces are good for our mod.
Because, you see, these faces are beautiful, but they remind me of the films from Hollywood's golden era.
I'm talking about those grandiose historical epics, which have some non-caucasian female characters, played by beautiful caucasian actresses full of makeup (e.g. Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra).
So, yes, they are beautiful, but they remind me of Hollywood's take on history, which is not good.

Don't forget the African-Latina Rosario Dawson playing Roxanna in Alexander the Great, because... all brown-skinned people look the same?

Please, I don't want to hear anything about Ms. Dawson. She is the only reason to watch the film.
And as a sidenote, if all brown-skinned people looked like her, what am I doing still in Greece?

As far as I remember, Greeks (like Cleopatra) are Caucasian (i.e. Europeid, unless you meant actual Caucasian). Though, indeed, Elizabeth Taylor doesn't look much Greek either.

Omg you're right, it's Catwoman! Or Cosette, wtv, same thing.

...And Brad Pitt, the most american looking guy on earth, plays Achilles. Ha!
Indeed brown people all look the same (sarcasm): proof: here we even have marocan actors who play Latino characters...

Anyway, yes that'd be cool if we could have both vanilla and those new females faces.

Korinov, I'd love to see this one:

Right now all custom made rivers are cut off by the terrain borders (or at least one or you are creating an island) and FantasyWarrior made some great kit to get around that.

And more scene props to possibly create a cathedral:

Very nice helmet:

Interesting Spangen helmet:

This one's a bit rude but well,  cutting off parts of the body with a sword is quite realistic isn't it? (Though it should be turned off for blunt weapons)

Maybe already suggested and not stunning but good to bring in even more variety than we already have.

While browsing the Suggestions thread of the new fantasy mod, I found a few packs which might be useful for us as well:
Caba'drin's Bodyguards/Escorts in Town/Village scenes (might require increasing the assassins' numbers/strength a bit, in order to keep our Assassination Plot quest not too easy?)
Caba'drin's Order: Volley Fire (or we already have this?)
Yamabusi's Battlefield Priests models (might need some additional rework, but it could be cool to have those monks and priests in scenes or even in parties of wandering monks/taxidiots (then again, we'd also need such new ones for the Orthodox, Muslims and maybe even Pagan priests, lest we have the Catholics get all the game-candy))
