Original PnP DnD?

Users who are viewing this thread

If you are looking for some great, oldschool Pen and Paper roleplay, you can now get it for real, real, cheap.

Thanks to another steam sale (lasting another 22 hours) you can get Neverwinter Nights 2 for $9.99: http://store.steampowered.com/app/2760/

This includes the full original singleplayer campaign, two expansion compaigns, a large deal of player mod created persistent worlds online, the best of which to note is the following: www.knownlands.com

Known Lands is a player created universe, with many similarities to the classic Forgotten Realms setting of DnD. It is played with the modified Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 ruleset, and all players play in "Adventuring Parties" (Like Original PnP DnD) and meet once a week for about three hours to go on adventures that are all prepared, individually and in a unique fashion, by a Dungeon Master!

There should be times that suit almost all but the super tight Australian schedule available: http://knownlands.com/parties (Click the links to see party members, the dungeon masters, and the times that they meet.)

Cheers.

NWN2 is not PnP.

It involves neither pen nor paper.

Also, you have posted this on the wrong board.

I dunno, I always found the first edition to be unintentionally hilarious. Like the way you got experience for accumulating gold. In D&D land, tax collectors are like an elite special forces unit.
