Order troops to attack (While you stay back) View

I think that it would be cool if for those who click on the Order troops to attack button, a commanding view would show. Like a bird eyes view of your the battle map. And you can click on the dots ( troops) to do the same commands like spread out, and those other commands from the command screen.

I think this would be good so you have better way of ordering your troops around while you are "on the top of the hill" viewing the battle

As to the suggestion, I like the idea of having a bird's eye view of the battle. The idea of giving your orders to the men in unrealistic though. In another thread, someone suggested a better way to give out orders, where you have a squire who can sound a horn (or some other way). If this was implemented, then you could sound the horn to give your men orders, but I don't like magically giving them orders from halfway across the map.

Come on, what army didn't carry radios during the middle ages? And what army didn't use satellites to locate enemies?

Right, I agree with uses of flags and horns. However, shouting the command (like what you're doing now) should be limited to only your own group of battle, in close area around you.

This is a great idea, and ive seen it before in Yoshiboy's latest version of the Pirate mod(80. It seems like a great idea, looks like a great idea and simply IS a good idea. Modders should take advantage of things like this in the greater mods(TLD, EGII,BoW,etc) so that eventually we will see it in native aswell

I mean like when you hit backspace, it gives you a command screen while your in battle. Why not something similiar when you click on Order troops to attack?
