Optional helm view?

Was wondering what the chance of you guys putting in the helmet view as an option?

I'm talking about blacking off part of the screen the helmet would block.
One of those eye slit only helmets would only let you see what the eyeslits would.

I don't see any harm of allowing it to be an option. Would add a lot more fun for some of us.

It was mentioned in another thread, but the POV limitations of first-person view (smaller angle of vision, lack of peripheral vision) sort of simulates a "helmet view". Decreasing visibility any more, at least on the x-axis, would make the game unplayable, I think.

Thats why I'm asking for an option instead of forcing it on players.

I've played similar games where they did this, didn't ruin my gameplay at all.
Instead, it made things more immersive.

Can even use it to boost the difficulty percentage.

hmm... i'd use this feature. Makes the use of helmets more "realistic". Protection, or better visibility?

I'd really like to see this implemented. Honestly, If we cared about what we could see we would all use Third person view.

No harm in putting it in the options.

If i have to be honest... i rarely use helmets in games. I put much effort in creating a good looking character... and he/she often is a character i've used in P&P roleplay... so i am *really* attached to him/her.

I could never cover such beautifulness with an ugly helm... unless it is an open-faced helm, but even then... it must be good looking. Even armor... i won't ever put on a bad looking armor, even if it is better than the one i have

I know, it's not very wise but... style comes before all, for me... after all, to quote one of my characters:

"I could win by stabbing him in the chest. That sucks. It's not stylish. I will screw him, then i'll ruin his family, then his position, then i'll torture him. I have yet to decide if i will in the end kill him or cut his arms and legs and keep him as a pet."

That phrase could come from the char i'm using right now in M&B... a female half-drow summoner/healer. Rearranged in M&B into a one-hander/archer
